I needed something small enough to fit under my vanity but nice and sturdy. Easy to put together, part of it is already put together for you. The only thing I don’t like is the visible screws. I originally covered them but it looked worse that way so I just left it be. Put some tiny sliders on it to make it easier for carpet (it does come with something for bare floors) Nice storage compartment. Not all that comfortable but no bench is.

I recently replaced my 5 year old twin mattress. You may have noticed that mattresses have gotten thicker/taller over the years. My new mattress is 4" taller that my last one and suddenly I can no longer sit on the side of my bed and reach down to tie my shoes. Hence this purchase. This bench was easy to construct and looks great. The white painted wood matches my bedroom furniture. I like the built-in compartment where I can store stuff for my pockets as I'm going out the door. It is a little thin and I could see myself tipping over backwards if I lean back too far while dressing. To prevent that, I keep this bench near a wall so my back has support.

It's getting harder and harder to find wood that is not "manufactured" i.e. chip board with thin veneer. This is solid wood...at least the legs and cross-members are. It is sturdy and it should last a lifetime.

The wood split on one of the legs when I was assembling it. I contacted the company (it was very difficult to find the contact information) and the representative was quick to help send a replacement part. It took several weeks for the replacement to be delivered. When it came, I tried to finish the assembly but now the cushion can’t attach the the legs because the holes don’t match to connect the two parts together. At this point, I’ll just purchase a different vanity seat.
