took 4 hrs to put together bought it back in Sep with east coast weather had to wait for wind to die down. I like it. But I need to add a lock. Any suggestions.

Most importantly the size is NOT 8 X 6. It actually measures at outermost points 92.5" X 67.5" and height IS correct 72". Inside is 89X64. I mention this because I purchased an arrow base and it DOES measure 96"X 72" so it was just a bit large for the shed. The directions are pictures and no words so I am telling you if you never built a steel shed forget this one. To top it off the doors do not meet in the middle so you can latch the door. I will shim the latch side door hinge jamb an inch to get them closer. Damage was minimal and was expected so no biggie really as i have to fix the extra length/width of the base. The old you get what you pay for works here for sure. Last pict was set up with 2x4 and strap support for wind overnite. you can see the shortage of shed in circle area. Would I purchase again ? not at chance in hell. ... show more

    • Know what you are getting into before buying
Many reviews here talk about how difficult this is to assemble. It is not IKEA easy and the instructions can be a little vague, but it's not impossible. It took two of us 5.5 hours including set up and clean up. If you have ever assembled things before you know to put it the minimum amount of hardware necessary and leave them loose until you have the step you are working on figured out. Do this when building this shed. We had to flip two parts around, but it was easy enough. An engineering degree will not help you with this project. Hand skills will. If you are expecting this will be easy even though you have never done anything like this before then buy your neighbor with tools a case of beer and ask for help. Having a cordless driver helps Nuts are 7mm Having a couple extra long sheet metal screws for the roof corners is useful. The doors are the trim panels adjacent to the doors are covered with a plastic film. Remove this before assembly unless you want little boogers of plastic around all your fasteners. (this is why 4 instead of 5 stars). Lastly, yes, it is thin metal (but surprisingly sturdy- way stronger than I expected). It costs $240- what do you want? Stop complaining that you feel ripped off because you chose the cheapest option for a garden shed. The folks who made these things probably won't ever even have a place to put a garden shed. I am actually pretty impressed I got such a sturdy little structure for this cheap. Good buy in my mind- as long as your expectations are in the right place and you don't think your dollar is somehow worth more than everyone else's. ... show more

    • A bit floppy
A folding table and a couple of buckets are good to have to support the vertical pieces before the top pieces are added. The fasteners really didn't bite hard, so maybe some aluminum self tappers slightly larger than the original threads would be good. Took about four hours and only a few confusing moments. After securing it to a platform I might run a color matched acrylic caulk along the interior supports. It's fine.... any kit is going to be relative trash, but it's cheaper than lumber and won't rot. ... show more

Product arrived in a damaged box and a few of the pannels were dented and scuffed. Doesn't really come with instructions, more of a parts break down, that being said it was not that hard to assemble by myself. Only thing I don't like is the doors, if you open them too fast or even look at them wrong they come off the tracks and it's annoying to center them again. ... show more
