Comes with most of what you need to set up a sufficient tank. Comes with a full filter system with pump and bio bacteria foam. Also cubes with a timer light. Thinks you need that it doesn't come with: medium (sand, dirt, rocks, ect), heater, decorations, water, bacteria starters, plants, or animals. I purchased this tank for my Beta and up until last week I had no issues with it. All of a sudden I came inside and there was water EVERYWHERE! The glass on the tank had SPLIT in the middle, not along the seams. There were no impact lines or anything, it just split. Thankfully my fish was okay aside from his fin got sucked into the crack and it ripped a little which I am sad about because he is a pure red beta with no other colors and I am very attached to him. the filter was also pretty loud and I am not a fan of how the filter housing is attached to the tank so you can not remove it. I also had issues finding fiber sponges for it. I would be wary of this tank as it seems the glass it is made of is subpar. ... show more

I originally bought one on eBay but it arrived shattered so I ordered one here on Amazon and it arrived cracked. I got another one and it finally arrived safely. I was originally impressed with the overall look. After a while I noticed a few cons though. The hoses pinch when you lift the lid unless you manually move them out of the way. The light is bright but will grow algae really quickly even on a medium setting. The hood area is really bad about algae growing as it traps a lot of moisture in quite a few areas. Also the ergonomics of the tank make it a little more difficult to clean. The “filter” that it comes with is a joke. You should ditch it immediately and go with something better. Even if you upgrade depending on the type of fish I’d still recommend changing/cleaning it out 1-2 times per week. Other than those things it’s an ok tank. I do wish I had gone with either a Fluval tank or one of the newer smart tanks from overseas as they both seem to have less of the issues I’ve noticed with this tank. Also I’d recommend going bigger if your on the fence. You most likely won’t regret going bigger but you might definitely regret it if you find it’s too small later. This is a superior quality 2 gallon glass aquarium. Well made, whisper quite. Little assembly needed. Rather than buy the premade filters I bought a roll of filter material off amazon that will last me for years. I made a cardboard template and just cut the filters out of the roll. The media could not be loaded. Wanted a nicer house for my betta, and was happy to find this one for such an affordable price!
