I think that wearing fun reading glasses is one if the perks of getting older. These fun readers by Betsey Johnson absolutely fill that bill. They are really adorable and very comfortable, too. I get compliments every time I wear them!

I've been into Betsey Johnson since my teen years in the early 90s. However the quality of her eyewear accessories declined. Just removing them from the packaging I thought there were going to break. Not only are the frames flimsy plastic but so are the lenses. I guarantee they would snap or scratch within one day of use. The style I got was kinda fun and the colors bright and beautiful. But all things considered they got returned. I also bought a pair of her black cat eye sunglasses that came with a storage bag, cleaning rag and pearl bead neck chain. The glasses snapped at the nose and one lens fell out all within one month. The bag and accessories were much better quality than the glasses themselves. I understand these have a low price point but the quality is suffering. I hope they re-source a new eyeware manufacturer soon.

I really hope these aren’t people’s main glasses….because that would be tragic. These are what you pay for - not much. I keep them in various rooms that my good glasses aren’t in for ease because readers are a pain to drag around. These are cute for short periods of time.
