So glad I bought this! It was much prettier and cheaper than other finials on Amazon and Etsy, and looks perfect with my old world-inspired tree (I have a fairly eclectic mix of vintage and new colorful glass ornaments, clipped on birds, strands of white and red lights, berries and pine ones, sparkly picks, and much more!). You do need a longer branch at the very top to place it on so you can slide it all the way down. I was worried mine was too short, but slid it firmly down and kind of “anchored” mine with some lightweight picks around it at the top, as I have a 6ft slim pencil tree so not as much weight on the very top branches. Make sure you carefully push it down as far as you possibly can to ensure stability. This is my first year to not use a star on top, but this looks better, and is so unique and dreamy! Love the glitter accents too! Pulls all the colors, types, and themes together, and it looks so great with red. ... show more

I like doing the traditional trees with garland and tinsel and a finial tree topper. My mother used to decorate her trees that way when I was small and I have never forgotten the finial tree topper she used. It was like the one I bought, only different in coloring. Redoing my Christmas decor and tree. Going to mid century modern. This is a really nice piece to add to finish off my tree. The colors are brighter than they appear in picture. The pink is not hot pink but just pink. I love all the colors!

Beautiful colors and beautiful shape. It is way too delicate though. I would have liked the opening to stick onto the treetop to be larger. I had to shave the top stem to accommodate the ornament.
