Unbelievably easy to set up, MAYBE 10 minutes to pump. Highly recommend to inflate in the opposite order of what the instructions say (1, 2, 3) works much better and much better shape if you inflate 3, 2, 1. Took me a couple tries to figure out where I fit best in it by myself. The paddle will be fine for little use but if you like to paddle and not get soaked, get a different paddle. Love the bag it comes with, very handy. Super easy to deflate and store again. I am having some water get in and puddle near my bottom, but I think it’s the paddle issue. The material is really water resistant and I think when I splash, it just rolls down in to the lower crevices. Really good product for the money

This is smaller kayak, but not in a bad way. I am 6ft/230lbs and had my 3 year old son with me. Which is well over the stated weight limit, but it did great. It's a narrow kayak, which squeezes your hips in, but that makes it a little more responsive. I was impressed by the outter layer, it seems plenty protected from most of the river rocks, and things you might bump into. It's not a true self bailing type, but does have a whitewater drain plug, that I think would function just fine for what this kayak is made for. Seat is pretty nice, bag was handier than I expected. Paddle is garbage, just buy a new one. The pump is fast, and the boat fills up fast. After blowing up our SUP, this took like 2 mins. Downsides. The pump doesn't have any pressure gage, and the pressures are very low, so you can quickly and easily overfill (never leave in the sun out of water). Also it wants you to inflate the sides first, then the bottom. I found this made bottom misshapen, which made it not track very well. Fine for rivers, but it wants to spin out whenever you want to stop paddling. Will try adding some air to the bottom first to keep the shape first next time. Overall fun boat. I was going to buy an Aire Tomcat, and likely still will, but this I think should be able to handle most of the same. Obviously this isn't a nice as an Aire, but it's a big step above the just inflate PVC kayaks.

Only used it once for about 30 minutes on the river so far, but plan to use it a ton this coming summer. Easy to inflate and put together, great color, material seems very durable. Printed gauge on the kayak is strange (not sure what it means since it's printed and not a real gauge?) Pump seems a little cheap, hoping it'll hold up with careful use.

I'm am fairly experienced at paddling both white water and recrational sit-in kayaks. I was hoping the Bestway Hydro-Force Ventura inflatable kayak would provide an easier transporting solution. Unfortunately it is a extremely slow on the water and difficult to paddle; like trying to paddle a log. The seat is very uncomfortable with little to no support. Trying to get out of this kayak is much more difficult than that of my sit in kayaks.

Very POOR air valves...once you've inflated and pull out hose there's no locking device to trap air in...you'll lose almost 15% of air.

This is a great little boat for rivers and lakes. The nylon skin makes it much more suitable for the rough areas with rock and sticks etc. This is not a quick boat as others have stated it paddles slowly more like a packraft than a kayak. You need to be quite fit/strong to travel any distance in this boat. The paddles are too short I suggest you use your own or just stick the extra section from the second paddle in the middle of the other that way you end up with one paddle of acceptable length. The paddle is not great but it works OK for short trips. The worst thing is this boat does not track well and I suggest you replace the stock fins with larger ones if you plan on going any distance. The seats that come with the boat are OK but you will want to get something better if you plan on fishing or spending any length of time on the water in this boat.
