Description

The AquaClean™ Cleaning Kit by Bestway® offers pool owners the perfect alternative to clearing pool debris by hand. Simply attach it your filter pump and you have a powerful lightweight vacuum with an extra-long hose (24.5 ft) right at your fingertips to easily clean your pool wall and floors. The included pool skimmer scoops up leaves while the vacuum sucks up algae, debris and grim. The 9 ft aluminum pole enables the vacuum and skimmer to clean hard to reach areas of above ground pools. Debris is collected into a removable and reusable debris bag. The kit includes multiple adapters for connections to all Bestway® pools and filter systems. Fits filter pumps with 530 gal./h (2,006 L/h) flow rate and above and is great for use with all above ground pools.

We bought a Bestway pool from Costco last year. It came with a 1500gph sand filter with no skimmer or floor vacuum. We tried out a rechargeable hand brush vacuum, but the glue came apart and it was an utter disaster. This vaccuum brush was a pain at first. I didn’t follow the instructions and plugged one of the two outlets while running the vaccuum. The pump kept getting air in it and I was getting frustrated. I ran the vaccuum at the same time as the skimmer and it barely worked. Luckily, some further problems happened with the filter that caused me to upgrade to a 3100gph sand filter. The upgrade made life easy and the vacuum and skimmer both work at the same time, with adequate suction. Life should be easier this summer. ... show more

Our winter cover fell off during the winter and the water was so green it was almost black. We got out as many leaves as we could. We bought a robotic vacuum and it was working but would stir it up more than it could pick up. So we got this vacuum and could see the difference using it just once. I have vacuumed three times with it and the pool is finally cleaning up and can see the bottom. We had a lot of microscopic algae all over the bottom of the pool. And this sucked it right up and as long as you go slow it didn’t stir it up at all. ... show more

The vacuum itself is pretty standard but the pool pump needs to be strong enough to create a suction that will actually clean the pool floor. However, the pole, extra hoses, skimmer are all great bonuses so for the price the additional items are way worth it. We ended up buying a cordless vacuum that was rather pricy but it does the job 100 times better and without needing to clean the pool filter after vacuuming. It’s a decent pool vacuum but probably intended for a much smaller pool than ours. We have a 6000 gallon above ground so probably anything smaller this would do the trick. ... show more

This is super easy to install and has great suction. The bag fills up quickly and affects the suction so I only use the bag when I have big debris other wise it works great

    • The biggest waste of money

This product is supposed to be compatible with Bestway pools. Not only was it missing parts needed to make it work, but the instructions (if you could even call them that) came on a small 3”x5” card and offered ZERO actual instruction, just a series of pictures of how the product is supposedly intended to work…. Literally a complete waste of money and completely unusable as intended. The ONLY redeeming feature is the telescoping pole and brush, which still function as intended (one would hope!). The vacuum portion though? Laughable and only serves as an exercise in utter frustration. Now I need to try and find the replacement parts for what is missing from this product in what will likely be an attempt made in vain. I don’t actually know though because the parts list on this 3x5 card have incredibly small pictures with zero actual descriptors. So I don’t even know what I’m actually looking for, only a microscopic image of what I THINK is the missing piece but am unable to ascertain for certain. 10/10 would NOT recommend for purchase as a vacuum. I ordered this primarily for the intake/outlet adaptors with practically zero expectation of receiving a well made product at this price. I was very pleasantly surprised! I recently replaced another brand of pool with a Coleman/Bestway. Over the last 10 years I've bought supplies and accessories from my local pool supply business as well as inexpensive ones from big box retailers. This set is WELL worth the money! The vacuum head does not have wheels (relatively standard on vinyl above ground vacuums) but it is VERY NICELY WEIGHTED! This is important to me because it allows the vacuum head to maintain steady contact with the pool floor without the user exerting a lot of pressure to keep it down and in contact. I had already purchased a heavy duty 27' hose from pool supply, but this one came with a hose that's big enough for my pool. I spent twice as much on my "premium hose" than I did this entire kit. Granted, the hose that comes with this kit is much lighter weight, and you might consider upgrading the hose later if you want a heavier one. The pole that comes with this kit is as heavy duty as the premium pole I paid $28 for last year. The intake and outlet pieces (the blue pieces included) allow me to connect any 1.25" hose to the intake and outlet on my Coleman Bestway pool opening options then to use all sorts of accessories from various manufacturers. I would say with this kit you're getting at least $60 worth of pool accessories, maybe more. I hesitated because of the price being so low, but this is a solid kit and with a decade of trying different stuff in various price ranges I don't hesitate at all in recommending it. This vacuum comes with no instructions or description of performance, and customer support only knows what they can read off a piece of paper. So I had to spend extra time scouring the Internet for help, finding a helpful YouTube video. Here's what I found... 1) In order to get appropriate suction power you need to plug the other port so that all the suction is concentrated at the vacuum hose. 2) Turn your pump to Drain so that you don't return debri and algae back into the pool. 3) Before connecting the hose to the pool you'll need to prime it first by submerging/filling the hose with water. If too much air is in the hose, water will not run freely to the pump. You can fix that by turning off the pump and unscrewing the filter basket until it fills up with water which then should fill the hose with water. Screw the lid back on and then power the pump back on. It might take a couple of tries but it will work. 4) Water should eventually be spraying out of your pump. 5) Begin vacuuming your pool. That's it. What a hassle. ;( But after all this does the vacuum work? Not really, at least the way it's supposed to. But if you're looking for an expensive scrub brush then this is it. I've given up and moved on to a different vacuum. ... show more
