The media could not be loaded. I'm giving it 4 stars because of the size, price, and how fast it actually arrived. My only gripes with it is that assembling the two nooks was annoying and while it comes with an anchoring mechanism that can be installed onto your wall, it's a bit wobbly due to it's height on its' own. A heavier base might prevent that, in my opinion. As I was placing the beams in the corners of the little hiding nooks, the holes drilled into the wood did not line up at all with the holes cut into the upholstery so I had to struggle lining up the beams and basically had to guess and fumble around with installing the screws into the beams. You also have to poke holes into the upholstery to actually get the screws into the nooks before you can start attaching the beams. There is a little handle that can be installed into the wall for more stability, but that kinda looks cheap. It woulda been a little nicer if the base of the cat tower was denser and had more heft to it. Overall, it's a nice product and I'm happy it arrived so fast, as it initially said it wouldn't arrive until a week or so. Aside from having a frustrating time building the nooks of the cat tower, it was generally an easy assembly. My cats seem to enjoy it for being their first cat tree.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: Ordered this cat tower mostly because of the affordability and needing somewhere my kittens can use their claws. I've heard mixed reviews about other cat owners wishing they hadn't bought one because they don't get used. I bit the bullet anyway and decided to give it a try. It arrived earlier than expected too which is always a plus. Upon unpacking it did have an odor but it faded quickly. All the pieces were there and it came with basic instructions but to be honest it was all pretty self explanatory. I must say, I definitely didnt need another work out after putting it together because it made me break a sweat. Building the boxes was the hardest part because the items labeled "l" had to be shoved inside. I thought the fabric wasnt aligning correctly but eventually made it work. I did have to stretch some of it to make the holes align. *see photo* At the end of the process, I'm still pleased with my purchase and my girls seem to like it so far.
