I got this for my two cats to keep put in the living room and keep them off the kitchen counters. One is about 7 lbs and the other is about 9 lbs. It is about the perfect size for these cats though I can say I wouldn't get it for a cat any bigger. With that said, both cats love it and sometimes fight over the top perch, though not too often or aggressively. I have an open kitchen/living room design so I placed it about 5 feet from the kitchen counter both cats were jumping on. So far, it has reduced that behavior by around 80 percent, so I would call that part a win. As for construction, again, it is not designed for large cats, but it seems to hold both of these cats, sometimes at the same time, well. It does slide a little bit, but nothing I can't handle - maybe a few inches at most, but it is not to heavy so it is easy enough to slide back into place. It also doesn't seem to have any issues handling either cat on the highest platform. I haven't had it long enough to determine durability, but I don't think that will be an issue for some time. Putting it together took about 45 minutes with the hardest part assembling the two condos and this was mostly aligning up the holes in posts with the screws. The rest of it went together in pretty short order. All in all, I would definitely recommend this for people with small to medium size cats. ... show more

The tower itself I feel is great for the price. You can’t beat $20 for something of this size, Overall i’d say the cons do not out weigh the pros but- my complaints are that 1.Assembly was a bit hard, the instructions were decent and the tools worked but the holes drilled into the tree itself were a little wonky. It ended up working fine tho. Last for complaints, the bottom hide is surprisingly small and the left little perch thing is very wobbly no matter how much it’s tightened (both circled in second pic). My cat is a relatively large cat for 7 months old so it could just be his size, but I feel it shouldn’t be that wobbly. Over all it’s a good buy though. My cat adores it and it isn’t tacky either which is a plus ... show more

The top perches are less stable because they're on one bar unlike everything else which is on 2 bars. The product is great, for the price. The product however is very cheap. I do regret purchasing it. I will admit, I noticed all the cats photoshopped onto the stock images. I didn't think much of it…but upon putting it together, you’ll realize just how small it is. They photoshopped cats in places that no adult cat would be able to fit. Further more, the 2 boxes on the cat tree do not have side walls. They just have a thin sheet of fabric for the sidewalk. I imagine my cat will shred those boxes within a month. The stability is lacking. The 3 pillars on top start to lean with just 10 pound resting on it. My cat is still young, and loves to run and jump onto the cat trees. I don’t see those pillars lasting more then a couple months. I would say, for 24 dollars…it’s a great deal. I would consider this like a disposable quality cat tree. I don’t see it making it 6 months to a year. At that price though…you can just buy another one when it wears out. However, if you want your cat tree to last…I’d spend a few more dollars to get a more durable tree. I think over all, my biggest disappointment is the cat boxes not having sidewalls. Update: it’s been about 2 weeks(or less), and my cat already broke off one of the pillars. Cat loves the tree, it’s just very poor quality. ... show more

I love this cat tree! Such a great price for how big it is! My cats love this tree and use it all the time. I was able to put it together while 36 weeks pregnant and it was so easy. It’s very stable and sturdy and super easy to clean.

I built this in less than an hour. It was an easy build for me, however the instructions were only visual and probably wouldn’t be helpful for someone who isn’t a visual learner. The product is nice, my cat instantly fell in love as I took it out the box and started putting it together. My one note is that the bottom pieces aren’t weighted, and there are no wall securing pieces, so the structure is a little wobbly as my cat jumps on and off.
