When used as instructed it works wonderfully on hair with a conditioning product used for detangling!!! Works very very well on my husbands hair which is very dense towards the back, and tends to knot in the thick curls at his neckline. I have curly but wiry hair and it also works very well for mine, as it tangles easily. I have very fine long naturally straight blonde hair. My hair is also thick & this brush may be fine for other types of hair, but for mine the bristles were too short to go through all of my hair along with causing static electricity so I returned the item.
