I bought this because the pretty lights drew me in like an angler fish, but it turns out this company really did spend time designing it well. I'm still most surprised by how solid it is. I've really thrown some weight around on it and it doesn't budge or make any noise. It went together perfectly with 0 issues and looks amazing with the lights on. I can't recommend it enough. The only thing I can say possibly negative is that it doesn't have any traction pads on the top of the frame so the mattress can slide if you get on it at a weird angle. I did notice some reviews stating fitment issues. When I was assembling mine, I noticed a few steps where if you're not doing this right, it will create fitment issues. The biggest step overlooked is that with frames and braces, you need to bolt everything together loosely *first* before tightening anything as parts can shift around as the bolt is tightened and then it won't move to allow an adjacent part in. ... show more

Follow the instructions. Also, even with 2 people it will take you a couple hours to put together. After the frame is put together, it is very sturdy and goes together really well. Boyfriend picked this one out for the new king bed we got and we love it!

This frame is so solid when assembled that I feel like I can put wheels and a motor on it and drive it down the road. One could even say it's over engineered. It's the most solid and stable bed frame I've seen. There are however two areas for improvement that I'll point out. Before I get to those, the build in outlet is really convenient. It's great for setting up a reading light, phone charger, or any other electric device you want near the bed. This bed also has light strips included to light it up and give it a cool bachelor pad look. I like that these lights connect into the the wiring for the built in outlet without taking up any outlets. There's an app available to download for the light strips that is really easy to use and provides lots of functionality. You can use either the included remote or the app to change light settings. You get a choice of colors, or you can have it scroll through different colors, fade in and fade out. If you want to have a party in the bed, you can set the lights to blink or strobe. The included app has an option to have the lights change to music. They'll synch with the beat and add to the mood of the music. The app also makes the lights respond to sound. So you can clap, grunt, scream, moan, or belch and the lights will flash with the sound. I put this bed in my guest room so I can mess with my guest and use the app to turn on the strobe when they go to bed. Now for areas for improvement. I installed the light strips as instructed but the ends of them started to peel off a couple of hours later and got worse over the next couple of days. You can see t his in the second and third pictures. I'll find some other way to secure these but this is a problem that should have been known and the frame should have had a different surface where the light strips attach so they would adhere to it reliably. The other issue which you can see in the 4th picture is there's nothing to keep the mattress from sliding on the frame. I don't have a mattress on it yet but I can see this being a problem as someone bumps into it, makes the bed, or just the movement of getting in and out of bed. There should be something to hold the mattress in place. I ordered something called a "mattress gasket for metal frames" that attaches to it and holds the mattress in place. This shouldn't be something we need to order and the frame should hold the mattress in place. Other than those two things, I'm really. happy with this frame. ... show more

Product looks very cute in my room. I assembled it myself in about 2 hours. I did have a little issue with the led light sticking, and part of it keeps falling. Also, the bed frame does creek and move around when I move around as well.
