Important to know - I'm in my 60s and absolutely HATE using makeup. It seems like a waste of time at my age. However, I have to use a concealer to hide some darkness on the inner corners of my eyes and sun damage on the lids. The concealer I use is great, but eliminating the orbital darkness with concealer leaves my eyes looking lost in the cover up; there is no depth and my eyes disappear into the background. Ok, let's try some shadow to bring the eyes back to the foreground. I didn't want to spend a small fortune on one or two colors. Sometimes you order one or two colors and they don't look good on you, so you've wasted time and money for nothing. Other times you spend a lot of money on an expensive palette and the colors don't last or the shadow flakes off. I work from home so there is little need for me to go through the annoyance of using makeup on a daily basis. Thank a deity! I hate using makeup. I suck at it. After reading the great reviews, I ordered this product in the neutral palette. It arrived extremely quickly, was well packaged, and the presentation was very attractive. It was neat and tidy and the colors looked lovely. I finally used this on Friday and it made a world of difference to counteract the effects of the concealer. It blended well without screaming, "Hey, I obviously used makeup today." The color lasted all day long and the shadow stayed in place. You can't ask for more than that. I would recommend this product to others. Thanks!

I'm in my mid-30s and I discovered within the past year, the fun of playing around with eyeshadow colors for different looks! I have some other eyeshadow palettes and like the colors but wanted to try something new with some different colors. This palette caught my eye when I was searching on here and I decided to give it a try. Eyeshadow palettes are a really great idea, I think, because it gives people options of what color makeup to wear, depending on mood, clothing color, and what looks good with your complexion. This particular one has a good variety of colors for many eye colors and you can mix and match with other eyeshadow palettes if you'd like. This palette has a total of 16 eyeshadow colors. Two of them are matte (no shimmer) and the rest all have some shimmer to them. The colors included are: Cream (matte), Pearly, Champagne, Mauve, Comfort, Rust, Bronze, Wood, Metal, Idol, Satin, Plum, Wish, Cameo, Espresso (matte), and Luxery. Each color measures 1/4 inch by 1 3/8 inches so they are smaller than some other palettes I have but there is enough eyeshadow to last for awhile. The colors range from light pink to light brown, from medium gold to dark brown. The entire palette measures 5 5/8 inches by 3 5/8 inches by just under 3/8 inch. The palette slides into a cardboard holder much like a DVD and the palette closes with a magnetic closure. There is also a plastic piece to keep on top of the eyeshadows and on the inside cover it reads "Be your own kind of beautiful." There is no information on the packaging stating where this product is made. I bought one of these for myself and one for my sister who typically uses the Naked palette by Urban Decay. She said the colors aren't as smooth as UD but they are pretty good, considering they are also much cheaper. I've used mine a few times so far and I like it! I have to use about four applications of color to get the shade I want and I always use primer. My makeup stays on all day (using a primer) and I have minimal fallout. I like the colors because I have fair skin, blonde hair and blue eyes. I don't need anything dramatic and these colors work well for me. If you want a darker, bolder look, I think I'd search for other options. I like these colors because they are soft and give me a natural look. My sister is darker with brown hair and brown eyes and she likes the colors as well. I also haven't had any problems with irritation. Overall, both my sister and I like this eyeshadow palette! You may need to apply the shadows a few times to get a darker color but this palette is also a fraction of the cost of more expensive palettes. This one is a good option if you want colors that will give you a soft, natural look with a touch of shimmer. So far, I'm happy with it and I will consider purchasing it again if I want the same colors next time I need a new one!

I loooove the fact that the email I received when my order shipped had tips and tricks in it even though I'm an experienced eyeshadow user. I found that if someone were to be just getting started in their makeup journey that the tips and tricks would be extremely useful and I think it gave the transaction a personal type feeling. Now onto the review about the eyeshadow itself Smooth Creamy almost butter like (even though its a powder) Huge color payoff/great pigmentation Easily blendable and buildable Not a lot of fallout but there is a small bit of kickback when initially picking up color with brush Beautiful without a primer, stunning with a primer (I use e.l.f. HD mineral eyeshadow primer) Nothing was damaged in shipping and it was well wrapped in bubble wrap The first thing I did was get to playing within about 5 minutes of its arrival, lol. I found that each and every color was super pigmented and glided on my eyes effortlessly. It blends out like a dream, even better than my high end pallets, and the colors are true to the picture shown. You can also mix the colors with ease to create a custom color. Upon swatching the colors they felt very fine and almost buttery (meaning that the powder is finely milled and very very smooth which makes blending so super easy!) I could go on for hours about how wonderful the pallet is. Its perfect for a beginner and even expert makeup artists would be amazed! If I had the ability to I'd buy each and every pallet this company puts out! Don't hesitate just buy it! You won't be sorry!

This palette has pretty colors. However, they tend to not go on very smooth. They are a little hard to blend and I tend to have to wipe off the excess eyeshadow from the side of my eye and under my eye. The price is very low but next time I will pay more for a better product.
