This is a nice foam mattress pad but does take about a day to fully settle because of the shrink wrapping. The thickness is good and fits our Queen perfectly. So nice to sleep on. I haven't tried to wash it but I believe spot cleaning would be best.

The media could not be loaded. 1. Lavender smell is nice. Not too much, not too overwhelming. 2. Egg carton feel is a bit more than I anticipated or wanted. Even through another mattress topper cover and sheets, you can feel the tops of the egg carton with your hands and back. Not a deal breaker. I’ve just never had one of these before so it’s different lol. I will come back and update in 6 weeks. 3. It is very soft and gel like. Springs back up nicely from your handprint. It made our firm 8” mattress much better. Makes it feel like you are in a big hotel bed. The 3” is accurate & the gel topper was instantly the size it was supposed to be in under 5 mins after unrolling out of the package. 4. The Queen size fits our Queen size mattress perfectly. And went in our mattress protector just fine. We tried our best not to pull or scratch or tear the gel topper at all while we put the protector and topper cover on. Worked perfect. ... show more

I just got this topper in today and put it on my bed and it’s and absolutely amazing! I was skeptical for it for a few months so I left it in my cart and would go back and look at it until I finally said “what the hell” and bought it. And let me tell you it’s the best purchase I’ve ever made. I’ve been having trouble with back and leg pain and the mattress I have is so hard the small thin foam that was on it wasn’t working at all and the pain was unbearable so I decided to get this one. The smell is amazing not too strong not “out there” it’s subtle but still there Yk? It’s super super soft and thick. It’s amazing and I love it I’m sure my boyfriend will as well. I haven’t slept on it just yet but I’m nearly positive it’s going to be the best sleep of my life! 10/10!!! Okay so… here’s the thing. It traps heat and reflects it back to you like you’re laying on the sun. I feel like it’ll be good for the winter but not for the middle of summer at 95+ degrees out. The first night was restless. I had stiffness in my back sides and neck making me only get about two hours of sleep. The second night was a little bit better I slept most of the night only waking up once to turn. Don’t expect immediate results you will be disappointed if you do. Allow it to get broken into. Another thing I noticed it’s perfect in the center when you’re laying on it alone but if you sleep with your spouse/partner like I do sleeping on the side isn’t as comfy and your body sorts of tries to drift to the center. But over all it’s amazing still just too hot and not as comfortable as imagined on the first night. EDIT:: I got this roughly three months ago and this comfort itself is good but the foam is cracking, flat, there’s discoloration from where me and my boyfriend sleep, the sent that was there is gone and it’s starting to be uncomfortable because of the breakage and flatness it now has. Another thing we’re now well into fall going into winter and the warmth we once felt is like magic and disappeared the foam is trapping in the coolness from around and freezing us lol. Overall it’s still pretty decent it just has its wears like normal daily use items have. Edit:: If it gets too “flat” flip it over so the smooth side is what you’re laying on and you won’t regret it super comfortable. Also we’ve had this for seven months now and it’s done torn so many tears on my boyfriends side but it’s still usable as a chunk hasn’t came out yet. ... show more

Been struggling since our purchase of a Sleep Number with lack of top cushioning. I have to have a lower number and I like a soft bed and my husband likes much support. The lower I took my sleep number the more I felt like I was on a deflated air mattress. After so much searching of all the expensive toppers I decided to get back to the basics and try this egg crate. First night I was able to turn up my sleep number for more support and this topper was PERFECT cushioning. The husband even says it’s perfect because the topper is soft yet supportive. So glad I got the 3in because it is honestly my best purchase all year. Best bed I’ve slept in, ever. For the price I don’t even care how long it lasts, I’ll replace every year if I must.
