I read reviews to get an idea of what I am buying, does it do what it says it does? While the topper was breathing before I set it up I read thru the most recent reviews. I cannot agree with the reviews that say it is so soft you can't get up, or turn over, or get out of bed. I do not find this to be true. Like memory foam being memory foam, you sink in a bit and then you are supported. One reviewer says the topper got torn up over a bit of time. I think the solution to this is to get a mattress cover, it smooths out the friction from turning etc. I wanted to add height to my bed so I got the 4 inch. I also decided to try a duvet with a feather insert because I couldn't find an affordable big fluffy comforter. You can buy the insert and duvet much more cheaply, and future duvet covers are also so much cheaper and just as stylish as a comforter. And the insert has weight, it's pretty heavy and it has that comforter crinkle that I love. The lavender isn't detectable to me but if it helps freshness it's all good. ... show more

I was very concerned when opening this because it appeared so short and small but as the instructions said after several hours it was a true twin size and has worked well for its purpose of me temporarily sleeping on the floor. I placed it on a box spring for a few nights and slept GREAT! I was really blown away so now I may be looking to get a king size and possibly use it in conjunction with a box spring permanently. I’m a side sleeper and this did well protecting my hips and shoulders on a box spring alone so I imagine it would be stellar on a mattress. I cannot do it on a mattress but to lumbar Ankylosing Spondylitis but even with my disability it was therapeutic on a box spring l. Not too squishy by affirming in all the righ places. ... show more

I had no idea my older “memory foam” mattress was worsening my back pain while I slept. I could scarcely move when I woke up. This foam makes all the difference. I didn’t want less than 4” for fear that it would sink in. This does not. It’s been a lifesaver. It may have smelled of lavender for the first couple of days. That was of no concern. I’m so happy I decided to purchase this. The reviews seemed 50/50 on satisfaction but I went for it anyway and I’m super satisfied. The topper perked up right away right out of the wrapping. There were no rips or tears. The color is a vibrant lavender which I really liked :) There was no smell or scent that I noticed. I left it out the full 48hrs as suggested but like I said it perked up instantly. And as for comfort, it took my comfort level from a 5 to a 9.5! SO HAPPY WITH THIS PURCHASE. ... show more

I have had this topper for a few days (the 17th to the 20th [which is when I’m writing this] of August) and it has fully puffed up to its full size. It’s very soft to the touch and when you lay on it. When sleeping on it you can feel it mold to your body, like a little nest. I got the lavender (4in) one, which is a pretty lavender/purple color. I guess it is also supposed to have a lavender scent. I get a little bit more of a wet cardboard smell (even tho it hasn’t been wet), maybe I have to give it a little longer or maybe it just smells like that. I have slept great on it tho, so much better than your normal college bed (the little blue one). I recommend it, maybe not necessarily the lavender one but this is a good brand. ... show more

Bought as a topper for RV bunk. Had to trim to fit, very easy to cut! Not a perfect fit because I ordered twin but I have full size mattress, but RV mattresses are very hard to get a perfect fit anyway. It's comfortable and that's what I needed it for!

Arrived on time! Great Packing. Love it, but didn't realize just how marshmellowy soft it really is. When it says Mellow...trust, it's super cushy! Great for pain relief just difficult to get up out of the bed because it's so super soft. And if you are out of shape like I am, it will be a struggle! Lol.
