  • Perfect for my daughter’s room
Size: 52" W x 84" L Color: Baby Pink
I’m currently redecorating my baby daughter’s room and needed blackout curtains for her. I don’t like blinds or shades for her room. I had cheap Walmart “blackout curtains” hanging up before these and they were too short in both length and width. They definitely weren’t blackout. I through these in the dryer to get the wrinkles out. They came out perfect. Also I was surprised they came with tie backs. So excited about those. I was really pleased when I first closed these curtains. My daughter sleeps like a dream now. Worth every penny. Now I just need a nice curtain rod to hang them rather than a tension rod. ... show more

  • absolutely gorgeous heavy duty curtains
Size: 52" W x 126" L Color: Olive
I love these curtains we are getting ready to move into a new house, and we have 10 foot ceilings in that house, so I decided that I wanted to do a curtain track instead of a curtain rod and these are absolutely perfect. The color is exactly what I was hoping for in the durability and thickness of them is perfect if you don't buy them, you're a fool ... show more

  • The color purple
Size: 52"W x 84"L Color: Purple
I like these very much but they are the wrong shade. As with computer monitors it's difficult to tell what color you're getting. Wouldn't it be nice if there was a standardized color system? If we could describe colors by way of something common like Crayola Crayons, the possibility of me having to return these curtains would be lessened greatly! I think the color description for these is plum purple. I've seen plums that are nearly black with a blue hue and that is the color I am looking for. These are the plums with the red hue. I've also seen this shade described as royal purple and Barney purple! Do you recall the children's show with the dinosaur who was purple with a green underbelly? That's what color these are. Not completely unattractive, just not what I'm looking for. These hang nicely! I really like back-tab curtains because the tabs allow the curtains to move freely on the rod and enhance the drape of the material. I hung these yesterday afternoon and though they are the wrong shade, left them up overnight to see if they really did block the light. They do! That's the other thing I like about back tabs, they cause the curtain to hug the wall. The texture is pleasing but a linen texture would have been more interesting. The curtains are evenly hemmed which pleased me greatly. So many curtains I've bought recently are hemmed with one panel being longer than the other or one edge of the panel is closer to the floor than the other edge of the same panel, unevenly hemmed. That speaks to the workmanship. Were I to keep these, I would have to iron or steam them for the wrinkles. But I must say that these are less wrinkled than most I've bought. They were folded carefully and packaged well so wrinkling was minimized. ... show more

  • Great quality; I’d buy again.
Size: 52" W x 84" L Color: Mint
Blackout quality for me is 4/5 since it’s not completely blacked out but is good enough to have undisturbed sleep from light/brightness. There’s A noticeable difference.

  • Ok but limited darkening of the room.. liked the color
Size: 52" W x 63" L Color: Lilac
Does not block any more light than a typical drapery

  • Great curtains.
Size: 52" W x 84" L Color: Moss
These curtains are great at blocking out the lingo. I purchased them in the moss green, and the color is true to the name - not olive, but moss - just the color I wanted. We’ll see how well they help keep out the cold this winter.

  • Good quality and spot on color
Size: 52" W x 84" L Color: Moss
I searched a while for the perfect deep green and I am very pleased with these. I orders the color moss. I like the loops on the back for the curtain rod. And I love how these curtains feel, they are very soft. The one flaw would be symmetry in the length, which I didn’t steam or iron the curtain so they may be more symmetrical as the wrinkles straighten out. I noticed towards the end they are slightly shorter in length. Overall would purchase again! ... show more

  • AT LAST MORNINGS WITHOUT SUN BLASTING IN MY EYES AND EVENINGS WITHOUT MY BIG SCREEN GETTING WASHED OUT AND NO MORE DRAFTS
As a retired Union Ironworker who spent almost my entire adult working life exposed to the elements and sun of the extreme spectrum of Northern Illinois weather, from not seeing above freezing from end of November to March, and rarely reaching even reaching 0 degrees in January and February to extreme heat and humidity from end of June to end of August with highs in upper 90s and humidity in the 90 plus percentage. When I would get home, I wanted to feel like I am indoors. I also suffer from allergies. After my parents passed away, I bought out my siblings and was able to by my home outright. It worked out well because, Mom got sick a couple years after my father passed and I moved in to help take care of her. And one of the things we were planning before she passed was getting rid of the custom vertical blinds and eventually the wall to wall carpet(which is covering up beautiful honey oak hardwood floors) that was all the rage in the late 1980s. I am sure someone spent quite a sum of money having those blinds made and installed but not only did they not do a great job of blocking out light or drafts or blocking the afternoon sun and solar heat blasting through my living picture window which faces due west in the summer or the frigid drafts that slip through during our frigid winters so it was time for a change. AND YES THEY ARE VERY EFFECTIVE AT BLOCKING OUT LIGHT AND SO FAR IN OUR EXTREME VARIED FALL TEMPS THEY HAVE HELPED KEEP THE LIVING ROOM COOL BY BLOCKING SOLAR HEAT AND WE HAVE HAD SOME EVENINGS IN LOWER 20s AND I FOR THE FIRST TIME COULD SIT ON MY COUCH WITH THE HEAT OFF AND NOT HAVE TO PUT ON A SWEATER. Best Home Fashion also makes a Tie-Up Shade Solid Insulated Thermal Blackout Window Shade http://www.amazon.com/Tie-Up-Insulated-Thermal-Blackout-L-BURGANDY/dp/B001BAIGU4/ref=pd_sbs_hg_15?ie=UTF8&refRID=042V5VDYMMQSRTWGWSWT which are made of the same exact material and colors and match perfectly. I have also hung two of those. So I have two bedrooms left to do. My son's and my own and while there is no question as to what brand I am choosing BEST HOME FASHION, i am faced with the decision of if I am going to cover all the windows with the insulated curtains or the larger double window in each room with the curtains and the smaller single windows the matching tie up shade. The cost will be about the same because I allowed him to choose what color he wanted and he chose burgundy and that is the color I am going to install in my room. So I can either buy 3 sets of the insulated curtains which come in pairs and split one pair up and hang a panel in each room or 2 sets of curtains and 2 matching tie up shades. I will make up my mind over the next few days as I see if the insulating performance of the tie up shade is as excellent as the curtains. I was expecting to have to spend a ton of money to rid my house of the quickly deteriorating and out of style vertical blinds. But for the quality of product you get these are very inexpensive. I also recommend installing redi shade pleated paper shades not only are they very inexpensive and super easy to install and able to cut the exact size to fit each window perfectly, they come in either original white or blackout black, and other colors, in widths of either 36 or 48 inches and cost between $30 to $34 for a box of six. You just measure the inside of the window, mark the paper shade and use a sharp kitchen knife or utility knife to cut them to sides, they also help to cut down with drafts. I hung the curtains and these with Kenney Ball Deco Window Curtain Rods which are $11.70 for 28-48 inch rods and $15 for 48-86 inch rods. So will be able to completely replace all my window treatments 14 windows in all, for $461 if I do all curtains and $467 if I put up one of these in each bedroom. I CANNOT WAIT UNTIL THE FINAL PANELS ARRIVE BECAUSE JUST AS MY LIVING ROOM WINDOW FACES DUE WEST AND GETS FULL AFTERNOON SUN....MY LARGE BEDROOM WINDOW FACES DUE EAST AND THE SUN BLASTS RIGHT IN EVERY MORNING. So I cannot recommend the Best Home Fashion Thermal Window Treatments enough. ... show more
