We bought this drum set for our 2.5 yr old granddaughter! Oh my goodness, she picked up the sticks correctly and started to play. Our friend that was a drummer in the day came over to coach her and was very impressed with the quality.

Got this set for my son's 9th birthday - he has just started drum lessons. I was concerned it was intended for a younger kid, but my son is on the smaller side, and I didn't want to spend like $400. It's a good set, seems completely adequate for a beginner of any age - not too small at all. I had a little trouble with the directions, since I am not a drummer and wasn't familiar with some of the terminology - his drum teacher had to adjust a few things.

I love this drum set for my grandson, although the biggest drum rim was shipped bent so it didn’t fit on it right but I didn’t want to go through the trouble of sending it back. Directions are not the greatest but worth the money sounds good!

Pieces are constantly coming loose. The stool is already bent and the drums do not sit right. Snar drum should be adjustable to lean in , but only gives option to be flat which means kiddo is just hitting the rim over and over. The two drums that sit on top of the bass drum are lean away from each other rather then into each other. Bass drum peddle is hard to push and sometimes the soft felt part that hits the drum comes off and dents the drum. Overall I would not buy again and wish I had just bought the real set audibly version which would have served my kiddos better.
