My kids wanted to learn piano - at least from all the youtube videos available. This piano isnt the cheapest but not the most expensive either.. But a super great value for what you get. Most importantly - its not too large considering its 88 full keys. So its - Compact - Full 88 Keys - These Keys are weighted - thats the room to grow - trains the fingers for the real deal later on! The sound is good and has a crap ton of other tones and sounds in the memory bank. There are many other features - I'm unsure as I've not tried them but my kids are planking away and after a few days - things are sounding nicer and smoother! Happy with the purchase and woudnt be disappointed if they quit as it would a small investment vs a 4000 piano... =) ... show more

Great keyboard, especially for the price and an average adult user. I hadn't had a piano for many years and wanted to play again. It's exactly what I'd wanted and expected. I love it. However-- thankfully, someone else had already posted that the top slants downward toward the back making it not level for playing, but note that that he put some quarters in the holes when assembling it and it solve the problem-- so we did the same thing and it did solve the problem perfectly! It was a great solution and the keyboard is level now. Was an easy fix. I highly recommend this keyboard-- but have about 10-12 quarters ready on hand when you assemble it. ... show more

Ordered this because I played piano for years (and even wrote a few pieces) but have been without a piano for over ten years now. I wanted to sit and play for myself and also be able to teach my kids to play, but we couldn't afford any of the higher end brands like Yamaha. The stand is a little lower than I like and takes some elbow grease to build, but I was able to build it in under an hour and solo. The stool is kinda crap, but thats easily replaced. The keys are weighted but you have the option of turning that off (for younger hands that are still learning and don't want the resistance). The sound is good! I haven't used headphones with it yet, but everything sounds good to me and doesn't have that "pingy" sound that a lot of digital pianos have. I haven't tried any of the "beats" because I wasn't super interested in that. Overall, I'm very happy with my purchase! ... show more

Stand and seat won’t hold up to any type of movement. The piano doesn’t sit totally flat on the stand and actually tilts towards the back, so the keys aren’t exactly laying flat. Keyboard itself isn’t particularly well made, feels cheap. There’s a small window screen on the side indicating power and settings, fell off completely upon unboxing without any mishandling. Sound quality is ok for a kid but doesn’t sound crisp to anyone who’s heard music before. ... show more

Everything is great out of the box. Easy setup; the straps have kept it falling completely over a couple times, already. everything works expected as is. The index at the back has the keyboard drum group chart, and it doesn't entirely line up. E3 sounds like a snare and has a picture of a high hat. C8 to the end lines up correctly; clap, snare, toms. Everything in between seems like a random picture was assigned to it which isn't helpful for identifying which notes I'm going to get. The recording feature won't play back looped, and is a single track. so not very useful. No complaints about the hardware. 4/5 for software not matching the appendix ... show more

I had concerns the product may be damaged due to shipping, but the internal packaging was superior and the product was well-packed. Took about 30 minutes to put the frame together; in part because the single sheet had part numbers, but not the product itself, so I wound up using the booklet which explained it much better. Two sets of hands makes it easier to assemble and you should consider having a tube of Loctite nearby. I do recommend having an assortment of washers for the rubber attachment points. If you just screw them in the holes just pop around the screw, so putting a washer on it helps to secure it. Once assembled, the unit is easy to learn. Tested all the keys to make sure they worked, then played with the embedded sounds. The unit is worth the money for first time piano learners or for those composing their own music on the fly. It comes with a USB so you can drop your music on a thumb drive. The piano comes with a good sized board for putting sheet music or a tablet so one can learn from a piano tutorial app. The sheet board comes loose, so you may want to use some super glue to permanently fix it to the piano. We did get the insurance package for a little more - cause, ya know, kids. We also got a headphone with jack, Cause, ya know, kids. They can play it as loud as they want and only they can hear it. Be sure to select the right number of keys - we chose the 88 key and check the coupon box when you purchase it to save you some money. We hope your family enjoys it if you decide to purchase it.
