5 stars for the tree itself, it's a nice shape, seems sturdy, and doesn't have any pine needles for the cats to eat! Zero stars for the horrible, ugly "gold" color: I went back and forth about ordering gold vs black, and ultimately chose gold because it looks so festive in the stock photos. I should have got black! The gold is a matte-yellow, almost olive green color. It makes the metal hooks look like plastic, and really cheap. I really had my heart set on gold though, so I bought a can of spray paint and re-did the color. Before and after photos included - the first photo is the original color. The second photo is after spray painting (Rust-Oleum 11 oz Imagine Metallic Spray Paint in Brass, $3.99). Now I'm thrilled with it, and I think the end result was worth the extra effort, but don't order the gold thinking you'll get a nice shiny metallic tree! Hopefully this saves someone some trouble!

I absolutely love this tree! So we’ll made, and displays ornaments beautifully! My heavier ornaments are no problem, like they were on traditional trees! I may be adding lights, I’m not sure! This was so well packed (each branch in bubble wrap) that it took me over an hour just to get it unwrapped! Putting it together was easy with clear instructions. I’m so happy with this purchase!

Overall a great metal tree for the price, but it is fragile. The metal loops are pretty thin and just spot welded. Two loops were broken off in the packaging - not a huge deal since this tree has space for a LOT of ornaments (about 224). I was a bit concerned how the remaining loops would hold up (bought it for my wife’s valuable Lenox China ornament collection), but so far so good.

Never spend another 💸in Christmas trees 🎄 again! I tried natural trees 🌲-💰 every year!!!About $150/yr! When I needed to pay for other seasonal food, 🎁 s, & decor, messy!!!, trying to water them, all that time & work to saw the stump, get it level in the stand, drag it in the house without scraping woodwork, furniture moving, water damage to floors because it was difficult to get to or see the watering tray, trying to get it upright, doing it over & over to cut it down to the right height & trimming errant branches, waiting a day for the branches to fall into place before decorating slowed me down & if you went ahead & decorated before the branches relaxed the decorations were unbalanced with “holes”’in the lights & ornament distribution was all consummately too much! Artificial trees 🌲 were a storage issue, the needles bleached out in the sun of the window, dropped tired needles, reshaping every year-ouch! The weight to carry that thing! & I had to have help to carry it to its place! It was so much work @ a time I couldn’t afford the 🕰!, lights always going out, needing replacing so you had to use a metal cutter to get the zip ties cut to get the lights off the trees & that changed the shape of the needles’ appearance to look like a bad haircut-the trees looked tired & needed replacing after three years on the average cost of $50/yr use anyway! So no difference in price between real & artificial 🌲!!! This is sturdy! One time pay out. Stores pretty much flat-you can easily hide under a bed 🛏. If it breaks you can take it to a metal worker, who can fix it at a very reasonable price. Gives more light than its alternative, because there’s nothing blocking your line of vision. You can find every ornament easily. Spread lights, garland, ornaments, & lights & my neighbors cannot tell from the street that it’s not a natural or artificial tree. It’s sturdy! A friend, who collected annual metal ornaments for her children, finally had her tree fall over from their weight!!! This is perfect for that scenario. Takes minimal time to assemble. Never crooked! Easy to reach the top (@7’ it’s not too high for me! But is regal enough in height), sides or bottom to decorate by just reaching & not necessarily having to walk around it every time! Room to place 🎁 under its branches. No scratches to my furniture or floors. Lightweight-easy to carry. Modern in its thinking but it’s style changes depending on your decorations. I use it st Halloween 🎃 much to the neighborhood childrens’ delights! Top it with a witch’s hat, orange twinkle lights. Change it to fall color balls & ornaments for November, then time for Christmas 🎄! I don’t have to worry about getting someone to water it if I’m not there..... Getting the message? Need the smell of Christmas 🎄? Go to the tree lot & pick up their scraps for nothing!!!! Yes nothing! This is a no brainer 🧠 if you’re ready not to waste anymore time, 💵, property & personal damage, & still enjoy a longer holiday season with more $ & time to enjoy it. I collect special ornaments as souveniers when on vacation. I decided I wanted to be able to look back on these memories all year long. This tree is perfect! I don't care if it isn't Christmas or people think I'm crazy. The purpose for me is to showcase my memories for me. I have so many branches left to fill so I see loads of traveling in my future. The tree was extremely easy to assemble. The branches merely fold down and you are ready to go. Good quality and sturdy. Would highly recommend.

I bought this because I liked the overall design & because it is bigger than the standard ornament trees. I use this just for special collectible ornaments. At full size, however, it is entirely too big. I was able to just use the top tier & it fit right into the base & was the perfect size for what I need. I did spray paint it a deep teal/peacock blue & then sprayed a sheer, silver glitter over the top of it - all to match the decor of where I wanted to use it. It is absolutely stunning & I am very happy with it. I will be painting the rest of the tree, soon, just to have it all done but I probably won't need the rest of it for some time. I was also very impressed with how it was packaged & how organized it was for assembling. I would definitely buy it again.

Under no circumstances should you purchase this metal tree. First, it took hours to remove all the packaging material from the tree before I could even begin to set it up. Everything, including each branch, is individually wrapped and taped, which is great for protecting it during shipping, but is a nightmare to remove. And as you remove all the wrapping, all of the branches become impossibly entangled and it is like getting one of those trick puzzles unassembled x 20 because there are so many curlicues and each branch moves independently and with gravity (the branches aren’t fixed and don’t require force to set them). When you have to disassemble, the same entanglement problem occurs all over again. I can’t imagine having to put this up and take it down each year and remaining sane. My Christmas is already stressful enough without adding this tree to it. It went in the trash and I wasted $80 on this piece of garbage.

Most time-consuming part was getting the wrapping off the parts, but easy to assemble. Love it so far! We managed to get every single ornament we own on it with hooks to spare. Yikes!
