This hammock is awesome! Don't hesitate to buy. It all came very neatly packaged and start to finish I put it together in less than 5 minutes. And I had the "help" of a toddler and 6 year old. It's really a great hammock. Sturdy and comfortable. We have all used it from 50 lbs to 225 lbs. it even comes with a carrying case with a laminated card showing you how to unassemble and reassemble. I really have nothing negative to say about it at all. I'll try to post an update after using for a while but so far it's a dream! This hammock broke after less than a dozen uses. I've had it less than 5 months and didn't use it much over the winter. Today has been the first nice day so I pulled it out to use and it broke immediately. It is completely unusable at this point.

The media could not be loaded. I have had this hammock for a few weeks now and it has held up so far, even with me and my boyfriend laying in it together (probably around 360lbs). Its comfortable and looks as pictured, also was super easy to put together. However I feel that it has a kinda poor design. I uploaded a video so you can see what I mean... But the poles have too big of a size difference which leaves a lot of wiggle room, they flex and move a lot while rocking or moving the hammock at all. Also I showed the screw on the bottom in the video, and the screw sticks out so much that it hits the ground, and if you dont have a PERFECTLY leveled ground to put it on, then that screw is going to make the legs not touch the ground all the way and the frame will rock as you rock... Like I said, it has still held up but there should be a few modificstions so the frame doesn't move around so much...

This hammock is awesome 😎 the only thing is that the strings rub in the hook and with time the stings will warn out and rip so I put a piece a foam in perfect 👌🏻

Very disappointed. I wouldn't recommend this product. My wife bought it for me as a gift and it immediately started rusting out! It was only outside for a few months in the summer. If a hammock cannot withstand being outside, what's the point?

After reading TONS of reviews and doing a lot of research on which free standing hammock to purchase, I settled on this one, and I’m glad I did! It’s price efficient, good quality, and just as described. I’ve had this hammock for about 3 months now, in my backyard, uncovered, in the Georgia heat (and tornados), and it is holding up just fine! The height is adjustable and you have to play with it to get the fabric just right for you, but it’s been great. Fabric is decently thick and comfortable to lay or sit on. It is just what I wanted! My husband is about 210 lbs, I weigh about 125, and my kids are 40 and 70lbs. We’ve all laid on the hammock together and had no issues what so ever. I know some reviews said the metal was cheap or easily bent but that isn’t the experience that we’ve had. Also, it was super easy and pretty self explanatory to put together. I did it in under 15 mins by myself. Don’t hesitate to purchase and try it for yourself!

I expected this to be fairly cheap and low quality, given the price, but my girlfriend *loves* it, and uses it every day. She and I have both cuddle up in it and been very comfortable. My *only* suggestion would be to include instructions, but it was so easy, just looking at the Amazon picture let me figure it out. Edit: Months of use later, she still uses it almost daily and still loves it. We only regret that the pieces that screw in the bottom to hold the cross-pipe stick out, so the hammock rocks a bit on a hard surface (our front deck). It's still stable though.

We are very impressed with this hammock. Very comfortable to lie in, very easy to set up and take down. They really put a lot of thought into the design, and it shows. With the hammock at maximum tightness, we still have at least 3 more holes on each side to maintain tightness if the cotton ropes or cloth ever stretches out. The stability legs are interchangeable, the holes to connect the cross-bar are the exact same as the holes to connect the upright bars, which aids speed in setting it up. The only real problem is it is rather heavy, so you don't really want to carry it very far. But that heaviness comes from sturdiness...I'm sure this hammock won't wear out, and I'd prefer the weight to a lighter but more flimsy design. Three things I'd do to improve it. All 3 involve the carrying bag, because the hammock itself is perfect. 1) I'd sew in a pocket for the screws/bolts hardware. Right now, we're keeping them in the plastic bag, and we can always continue to do that, but it might be nice to have a dedicated, durable rip-stop nylon holder. Then again, that might make it easier to lose pieces, I don't know. 2) I'd make the bag perhaps 1/2" larger in length or height, or both. You have to arrange the parts in the bag carefully to be able to zip it up. It took 3 tries the first time, 2 tries the second, and I'm sure I'll get it right the first time next time, but it is a minor hassle. 3) A slightly longer strap with a little extra padding to make it more easily shoulder slung would be nice. I can still sling it on my shoulder, but the handle straps do dig in slightly. All in all, this seems to be the best product on the market. The two times we've used it, we've gotten jealous glances and a few questions about where we got it. Highly recommended!
