Hello to all of you buyers who complained about the lights. I bought the same tree and totally agreed with all of you. The tree is exceptional yet the disappointment is with the lights. Here is the steps to do in order to convert it to a plug in 1. use Acetone and soften the glue which holds the battery box in place 2. use a long nose pair of pliers and GENTLY pry the box out. You may need to use more acetone if the glue does not budge 3. try to find a plastic lid about 1/4 inches larger than the hole so that you can use glue it to the base. I use EPOXY glue and not super glue. I suggest plastic lid so that it is easier to cut the hole for the light socket. Make sure the plastic lid is strong enough to hold the light socket when it is clipped to the lid 4. cut a hole in the middle of the lid so you can clip the light socket to it. Make sure to cut the hole about 1 1/4 inches so that you can insert the tube light bulb thru it. LED 40W bulb is 3/4 inches wide --- T6. LED 60W bulb is 1 inches wide --- T8. It is your choice of bulb 5. order from Amazon *****https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01LVXU2IV/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o01_s00? CREATIVE HOBBIES 708N1 SINGLE LIGHT REPLACEMENT CLIP IN LAMP CORD FOR XMAS VILLAGE HOUSE. This is the light socket with prongs used in Christmas lighted houses and different crafts. I like this one because the prongs are metal which is more bendable *****https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0862C4MTR/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 OPALRAY T8/T125 LED Small tube bulb. This is the Led light bulbs at 60W. Please do not be concerned about the wattage. LED 60W is the equivalent of 6W and it is much brighter. I picked the cool white so the plastic light bulbs can be all lit up. If you do not want to order from Amazon, Home Depot has those bulbs in 40W. Make use get the candelebra base --- E12 and the tube form of bulb so that the bulb can be passed thru the hole you cut out in the middle of the plastic lid you previously glue to the base of the tree. THERE IS NO HEAT AT THE SOCKET WHEN USE THESE LED BULBS --- I CHECKED THE SOCKET AFTER 6 HOURS OF USE OF LED 60W VOILA, you now have a well lit tree for you to enjoy in many years ahead. Here is something for anyone who wants an ABSOLUTELY beautiful tree. You can get a string of battery operated Fairy lights and wrap it around the topper star. The battery is quite small and light weight. I let the battery box rest on the 2 colored plastic bulbs in the backside so that it cannot be seen from the front. Craft stores or Etsy may have them in a string of 10 bulbs and that is all you need. The tree is AWESOMELY beautiful with all the lights on. I am keeping mine on the table until whenever I am tired of it --- which may not happen. IMPORTANT UPDATE : DRILL THE HOLE IN THE MIDDLE OF THE LID TO HOLD THE LIGHT SOCKET AT 1 and 1/4 inches IN DIAMETER FOR A TIGHTER FIT,

This will serve as my main Christmas tree for years to come. It's big, looks great, and is quite heavy so be careful with handling and storing. This tree is battery operated with 3 AA batteries. I assume there is one LED bulb inside the tree that delivers all the light to the glowing pegs. There are no LED bulbs on the outside of tree itself, only plastic pegs that are glued into the tree and glow from the one battery powered LED light inside. Because the inside light is battery operated, the light is pretty dim and thus the pegs glow dimly, but that's ok for me because I like the dim glow vs a bright light. To me the dimmed glow makes the tree look more elegant. The battery operated light control is a timer which lights for 6 hours, turns off for 18 hours, then automatically turns back on for another 6 hours. You can buy from Amazon a third party AA battery replacement pack to make this into an A/C powered tree. (( Lenink 1 to 3 AC Power Supply Adapter Kit with On/Off Switch, Battery Replacement for AA Battery )). Then you would never need to replace the batteries, however the timer function would still be in operation so the tree would still cycle on/off for 6hours/18 hours. But again, no longer dependent on batteries. I've owned a few ceramic trees over the years and gave them all away, of the pegs fell out, but this 2-foot ceramic tree is more like a table-top tree and very elegant.

One complaint is the star does not light up, hence the 4 stars..other than that I’m happy I purchased this 24” tree. Finally I have a tree for Christmas!! It’s everything I’ve wanted. It’s a quality tree that is made perfectly. It’s large! I can’t have a tree because of my cats. This would be perfect in a front window due to the size. No assembly required other than a plug and top star. ⭐️ it would make a great gift for anyone that celebrates with a tree. I’m glad I purchased this. I’m thrilled!!

This item arrived promptly as promised by the seller. It was also packaged very well. The 18” tree is lightweight enough for one person to pick up with complete ease. I chose the green tree with snow and multi colored lights. It came with all the lights and its electrical cord already in place. The only item that needed to be installed was the star that tops the tree. Which offers two choices a gold or a white star. I love the fact that it’s a plug in and voila it lights up tree! It even has a convenient on off switch on the electrical cord. I consider it a good value for the money. All said, I would highly recommend this beautiful tree.

I love this tree! I was not alive in the 50s, but I love the nostalgic look. Plus, the 24 inch size is perfect for decorating a table with gravitas. In my case, it's substituting for a 6 foot artificial tree because the pets won't leave the artificial tree alone. I returned another brand's 24 inch size because with that brand, the lights were not glued into the tree (which means with pets and children, the lights could easily be pulled out or spilled out). This tree has the lights already installed/glued in and there is absolutely no set-up (except putting in the start and plugging it in). I feel a lot more comfortable having the lights firmly in-place. It's bright and festive. If you've been wavering, go for it! I know this will be one of my favorites for years to come! Highly recommend!
