I have a cord cover running along the baseboard in my bathroom to get to the outlet on the other side of the room. The adhesive was losing its stickiness on one 3' section, and it kept falling away from the wall. After cleaning the dust off of the cord cover, I ran this 1/4" Acrylic Double Sided Mounting Tape along the back of it with the red part still on. Then I removed the red part and pressed the cord cover into the wall. That was several months ago, and it is still holding perfectly without showing at all. It was the perfect width for maximum coverage. It's nice to have the red backing so you can tell where to pull it away from the clear tape. ... show more

This is hard to work with, the plastic backing is hard to peel back and it curls up if you’re not careful. But it seems to stick well! We used it to put up led lights!

Bought the 1-inch roll to mount this StarTech.com AD2X2 2x2-Inch Open Slot Wiring Cable Raceway Duct with Cover under a standing desk for some clean looking cable management. Stuff works great. This roll was wayyyyy more than I ended up needing, but it's good peace of mind to have plenty left in case something comes loose in the future. The tape is actually clear, the removable backing is what makes it appear red. Which is super easy to remove btw. I also stuck a laptop brick to the side of the standing desk leg with one 3" strip of this and it's holding strong 2 weeks later. Overall no complaints. I purchased this double sided tape to attach some led strip lights outside. Unfortunately, removing the backing has been a very big issue. We have to work with it so much to get the backing off that the front side backing ends up not sticking at all. We tried cutting 1 and 2 inch strips of the tape to minimize ruining more of it. In the end, we were not able to use this tape. I really really wanted/needed/hoped it would work. I even tried the suggestions placed by other users in their reviews. It didn't work for us. I will continue to try to find ways to get it to work. If I find a way, I'll update this review. ... show more
