The media could not be loaded. I can tell this fishing rod is very well designed from the moment I received it. The color is gold and black, which gives a high-end feeling. I tried to bend my hand on the tip of the rod and it took very high strength to do it, telling me that it is a strong rod, which could definitely handle the monster fish when we use it for trolling and bottom deep fishing. When I tried to install my reel to it, I could see there is a double screws for me to secure the reel handle, which is another feature I found on this rod. The double screws could enhance the stability of the rod to an extent that the reel would not be easily coming off from the rod when the fish is pulling the line. The guide ring is well polished and I did not visually see the loosing part of it. I wish it could come with a detailed manual for those people who haven’t installed a fishing reel to fishing rod ever in their lives. Overall, this fishing rod is worthy of trying if you are doing conventional bottom fishing or trolling for big fish ... show more

The first rod I purchased, the guides did not line up with the butt. I returned it. A few days later I was contacted by a company rep from BerryPro to see what they could do to make it right. I told them it was a great-looking rod with quality components and I would very much like to have one that everything lined up correctly. They said to give them 7-10 and that they would send me one. This Berrypro trolling king offers excellent value for the money. This rod has a brass reel locking assembly, marine-grade frame material, and durable UV-resistant grip material. One negative aspect of this fishing rod is the fishing eyelets; the fourth down from the reel needs to be bigger. Perhaps this was a built-in design; however, I found the pattern of eyelets to be an Annoyance.
