This dress is very well made, the fabric is lovely, and it’s partially lined. It looks and feels like it’s way more expensive than the price. It went all the way to my ankles. The lining went to mid thigh. I think the color was pretty much as shown. Unfortunately, the top just didn’t suit me. I think it was pretty true to size but if you’re big busted and have any little bit of “back fat” it’s going to show. Maybe if I got the larger size it would’ve been better. For reference I’m 5’7” 148 lbs

This dress is so pretty, and it really exceeded my expectations! It is all embroidered, and the skirt is full and not sheer or see-through. It is really similar to a designer dress that costs ten times as much. I have styled it with a jean jacket for a night time outdoor concert, and it looked just as pretty as it did with a heeled sandal for a more formal look. It's the kind of dress that can take you from day to night; it's classy and elegant. The fact that it's black and has the beautiful embroidery makes it the perfect dress for almost any occasion. True to size, and very flattering. If you're thinking of buying this one, pull the trigger - you won't be disappointed!

I love this dress! I love the way it makes me feel and the way it fits my figure. For me, it is a tad low cut for my comfort, so I wear it on date nights or nights where it is a little more elegant. Overall, I have worn this dress over 3 times, and still have it as a go-to for my dresses! I think it is worth the money, just be weary of the fit around the chest area.

I got the 14/XL because usually I wear a 16 dress size to accommodate my chest, and other reviewers said it runs big... But I should have looked more carefully at the reviews rather than the maker's size chart because even after adjusting the straps, this dress is BIG. I am skilled enough with a sewing machine that I can pretty easily tailor it down to fit me, but if you're not planning to do a tailoring job on it, I'd advise sizing down at least 1 size, if not 2. The length is good, and the slit is high without being obscene. Overall, would buy again in other colors, but would definitely get a smaller size!

I am well beyond postpartum (12 mos) but given I just started getting back to my pre-pregnancy bod I still shop for clothing that conceals my tummy while I work on that goal. I thought this dress would do this for me. However the wedding I was attending would have mostly people including my pastor also in attendance. So cleavage baring dress not really appropriate. Also, I tried it on feeling 3 mos pregnant bloated and without any shape-wear to be fair. It just didn’t give me any type of comfort when I looked in the mirror. If anything I would’ve felt self conscious. It was well made, beautiful dress. The color was gorgeous too. Had I tried it on further down the road when I am more fit I believe I would’ve loved it and kept it. But I ended up returning and going with a maxi dress similar in style. Just wanted to put it out there for any Moms. Also if you ARE pregnant and looking for a wedding guest dress this would be perfect.
