I have been using this box for the past few months and it works great. I don't think its 100% leak proof (for example, anything with the viscosity of water would leak through. I've had one instance of fruit juices leaking to another compartment) but besides that it works well and the portion sizes are reasonable. The lid is handwash only and it can be a bit tedious to clean because of all the nooks and crannys. I have to let the silicone ring and plastic lid fully air dry after cleaning to prevent mold growth. BTW, since I've been using it, the lid latches haven't worn down at all (someone was worried about that in another review).

I bought Bentgo Glass Lunch container 2 years ago and has been using it everyday since then. Its leak proof and allows to have food in three compartments without touching each other. Its very easy to clean even if you carry 'curry' like food. In case you carry curry like food, you can easily remove the gasket and clean it separately. The main advantage is the peace of mind that you are not carrying food in a plastic container. The only disadvantage is that it's a little heavy glass compared to similar size plastic containers. For this reason I prefer it to be used by an adult. Due to my daily usage & cleaning and as I carry liquid food like curry, its rubber gasket broke after 2 years of usage. When I raised this complaint to Bentgo customer service, they gladly shipped a new similar lunch box to me. I am truly happy with my purchase and Bentgo customer service.

I bought this a couple months ago but actually used it for the first time yesterday. I wish I’d kept the box so I could get my money back. I made a Greek salad for lunch and put it in this “leakproof” container. It got turned on it’s side in my car for a minute while I loaded up a few things. When I arrived at work 15 minutes later, olive oil and vinegar from my Greek salad completely saturated the bottom of my neoprene lunch carrier and leaked onto the floor of my car. Very disappointed! Don’t waste your money!

I am so happy with this product. I have the Bentgo Kids container for my kids (obviously), and was so excited that they came out with an adult, non-plastic version. My excitement was well-justified! This product is made with great quality... very sturdy and durable, great size, surprisingly deep, and leak proof! I get so excited packing my well-portioned lunches in here. I know glass compartmentalized into 3 sections seems so simplistic, but I get so excited about this product and how well it's made (I also just love food, eating well, and encouraging others to do the same, so I love that I have a product showing that to share with others now). Thank you so much, Bengto, for making the product I've been waiting for.

These are fantastic. I'm slowly eliminating BPA, PVC, pthalates, and chrome from my home, so this was a great find. They're substantially more expensive than I was hoping to pay, but so far they've been well worth it. They're ~actually~ leak-proof and the compartments are well sized. When I microwave, I don't have to worry about anything leaching into my food, and I love having the versatility - heating, cooling, hot, cold, liquids, etc. I also really appreciate that the seal can be easily removed for cleaning.
