  • Great inexpensive tracker watch!
I love smart gadgets. I exercise, and anything that tracks my heart rate and distances is gold to me. Plus I just like wearing a watch, it's always more convenient than dragging my phone out of my pocket. I had one already but it stopped charging properly, so I kept my eyes open for an upgrade. When I saw this one I decided to try it. This is a nice tracker! The band is comfortable and easily adjustable. The heart rate monitor seems pretty accurate against my other monitors. The distance tracker was within 0.2 miles off on a three mile walk compared to my phone, and I consider this to be excellent as far as accuracy. Overall I'm pleased with this tracker. It works well, tracks a lot of information, and is inexpensive enough that I won't be too angry if it's lost or broken. ... show more

  • Children/Teens
The perfect watch for your young athlete. A QR code is printed on the inside of the user manual to download onto your phone then pair your cellphone to your watch using Bluetooth. The app is not necessary but it does provide many features that you won’t get unless you download it on your phone and pair ti the watch. It allows you to receive and read text messages and well as receive phone calls when paired. There are many different sports listed to choose from ti keep track of your steps and calories burned. A good starter watch for teens and older children. Comes with charging cord and watch band. ... show more

  • Least favorable entry-level smart watch I've encountered
I've been trying out different entry-level smart watches trying to find one that fills some basics needs like getting accessing texts and emails without pulling out my phone, and monitoring some vital signs and performance for my nightly walks. Nothing fancy, just the basics. This watch and the corresponding phone app combine to make it the least favorable product I have tried out so far. The watch hardware itself seems fine. The display is big and bright. The button on the side is easy to access. The band is very basic but seems comfortable enough. I prefer the bands that have a slot in them for tucking in the extra length of the non-clasp end of the band, but the loop on this one works OK I guess. The Benio app that runs on the phone is not ready for prime time, not only in lack of features, but has actual bugs that prevent it from functioning as intended. The most glaring bug is the Sports Manager function that is intended to let you select which of the 100+ sports will show up on the watch. The only ones I need are walking and cycling, so I wanted to get rid of all the others. Unfortunately for me, the Sports Manager function in the Benio (Android) phone app malfunctions and either doesn't let you select which ones to keep/discard, or just ignores what you have selected and doesn't update the phone accordingly. Either way, it is completely useless in its current state. And speaking of the Sports aspect, the only one I've used so far is the walking one. It will show distance, steps, calories, and heart rate, but it doesn't show speed as MPH. Instead it shows pace, which I guess is how many minutes it would take to go one mile. Not useful to me. Messages - partial text messages do show up on the watch, and they are easy to read. If it the text longer than a short message, only part of it shows up and you cannot scroll to read the rest of it. Email messages don't show up at all, not even the subject line. All you get is a notification that a message has arrived, and that works only if you are using Gmail on your phone. If you are using any other email app, the watch will not even show notifications. Contacts - Oh boy. This one is really bad. When you attempt to sync contact from the phone app to the watch, the phone app doesn't remember which ones you already synced. So, if you attempt to ADD a contact to the watch, you have to reselect ALL the contacts that you want to send to the watch. Otherwise if you just select the new one, that's the only one that will be on the watch. Fortunately, I have only a few contacts I need to sync. Can you imagine if you wanted to sync 50 of them? And you had to reselect each one every time you wanted to add one? Ridiculous. Display Duration - you can choose the length of time the display stays on when you manually press the button on the side of the watch. However, if you use the "Raise to Wake" feature, the screen stays on for only 3 seconds regardless of the Display Duration setting. I guess this is OK if you just want to check the time, but if you want to monitor your heart rate for example, you will have to press the button on the side. Sleep Monitoring - The info shown on the watch is pretty standard compared to other watches I've tried, but the info shown on the phone app is the worst I've encountered. Other smart watch phone apps show more detailed information about sleep, such as the start and stop times of each type of sleep during the night. The Benio app doesn't. It shows only the cumulative duration of each type of sleep. Voice Assistant - you can talk into the watch to give commands to Alexa, but your phone has to be awake and unlocked in order for it to work, and Alexa responds on your phone, not on the watch. I see no practical use of this feature at all. Being that all of the deficiencies are in the software, they could potentially be fixed with future upgrades, but honestly, I'm not holding my breath that Benio would actually do this. ... show more

  • Works well
This Benio smart watch has a lot of different functions for a very reasonable cost. The face of this model of Benio has a good size screen . It measures 2.2 inches. I got this watch for the husband as he has some sight issues and he says this one is easy to see and read. He is pleased with all the different functions this watch came with . Heart rate, steps taken, oxygen level, sleep monitor , breathing exercises, stop watch , 100 different exercise activities that one can choose from. Plus one can answer the phone using this watch. I haven’t tried that function as the husband isn’t interested in answering the phone LOL! This watch came well packaged and has an easy setup using the required APP. Very nice watch at an excellent price ! Would recommend ... show more
