The Benecreat cup pottery mold arrived with a nick in it measuring approximately 1 cm by 1/2 cm. This will affect any item I make that is as tall as this mold, so I am concerned that this passed through a quality check. The rest of the mold is smooth wood with a good weight to it. It seems to be unfinished wood. The handle screws in easily to the base. This will be a great tool for making a round cup or small bowl. Other than the nick I’m quite happy with this.
