I ordered this as I will be recovering from abdominal surgery in a couple days. I have been advised to buy a binder. I am having laparoscopic, but possibly a C-section like scar type of surgery for radical hysterectomy. I ordered a few other binders on Amazon, none of them were small enough to fit me. It’s frustrating because you’re basically just going on reading reviews, photos, and what people say about the fit. I considered going to a surgical supply website, but I feel like it’s easier to look at the reviews and photos on Amazon, that’s how I like to shop at least. I am 5 foot five, 109 -112 pounds. 40 years old. I figure with surgery I will probably have some swelling but the other binders I ordered all seem to be made for larger people . I was worried about this one because it didn’t have a lot of good reviews. I’m writing this review for you petite and smaller women out there like me that are looking for a good belly binder that is comfortable with the good tension that will fit you well. There is plenty of room to spare on this binder if I need to go tighter, and there’s room if I swell. I can’t speak to those ladies using this as a pregnancy postpartum binder, but if you were having abdominal surgery and were advised by your surgeon to get something like this I feel like it’s going to give me excellent support and comfort. I’m a size 0, sometimes 2, my waist is about 24 inches measured at the true waist loosely. I just wanted to find some thing with the proper level of support and grip it seems like most of the things on Amazon and the photos were for bigger people. If you’re small like me (and can’t help it,) I hope this review helps you and your search. I’m sure if you were five or 10 pounds smaller it still might fit you maybe. Buy this one it’s worth the money, I looked at the luxe version as well and there was a wait time on it and it cost more so I think this one is comfortable enough. I was between a small and an extra small and kept the XS and I'm glad I did, by 4 days PP I was able to get it to close. I had an unplanned c section and was so glad I had this on hand! The one from the hospital was awful and gave me a rash, but this one was great! It has made a huge difference in allowing me to be mobile so quickly postpartum. You will either want to wear it over your shirt or over a tank unde a shirt so it doesn't irritate your skin. They do sell a liner which I also bought, but got lazy and didn't take the to put it in so I put this over too my shirt around the house. ... show more

I originally ordered a small based on the size it told me to order...My belly was measuring small during my pregnancy, so I should have known better to order the XS. I returned the small for an XS and it fit fine for the first week or so, but then after that it was too big. Would I recommend? Yes! I definitely think that it played a part in getting me back to normal for the first week (however I think there were other factors that got me almost back to my prebaby body such as breastfeeding and eating right throughout my pregnancy). I wore it under loose fitting tops, but it just looked silly under tank tops. It wasn't terribly uncomfortable, but was not the coziest thing to wear while breastfeeding. ... show more

I did not get a chance to try this product because it was EXTREMELY small. I wore a size 0 prepregnancy and ordered this when I was still wearing size 2 jeans during my pregnancy. I ordered the xs and it would not even wrap around me by 5". definitely order a size or two larger than you think you would wear. ... show more

Got back to pre-pregnancy size in a week. Started on day 2 wearing for 30min at a time as I could tolerate. Eventually got to wearing it 24/7 by day 4 on. It got a crease from sitting, but it still works.

The BFF is a lot more comfortable than the original and better for petite women, but the sizing runs really small. I ordered the XS after the original size small BB became too big on me. When I tried to put the XS BFF on it didn't even come close to fitting, even though my belly measurements were within the range on the box. they really need to fix this issue. Medela makes the same type of belly band for the fraction of the cost. Save your money! ... show more

I have previously ordered from the belly bandit website and it was actually a much better quality (the brown one). When I needed to go down a size I thought it'd be cheaper to order via Amazon (the cream coloured one). Well u get what u paid for. This order had a different labelling and although it had all the belly bandit packaging and labels it has manufactured in China and the material had a difference in that this product creased and wasn't very durable after just wearing for half a day and didn't give much back support since the material want very durable (the brown one from the actually belly band it site lasted me 3wks without any creasing). I tried to confront the seller for refund before the creasing but have had no luck in any replys. Needless to say I will buy directly from belly bandit for other products. ... show more

This was my second Belly Bandit after delivery. The first one (Bamboo Belly Bandit) worked wonderful for the first 4 weeks postpartum then I needed a smaller size. The smaller size (I switched to B.F.F. to get more customized fit) worked amazing for getting my belly back to prepregnancy belly by 8 weeks postpartum. I absolutely love Belly Bandit.
