This shell wallet is beautiful, feels solid, and holds a good amount of cards. Personally wouldn’t mind if it held one or two more, but not a big deal. When at capacity, it can be hard to remove one card without first removing all the cards (unless you’re grabbing the top card). Overall, highly recommend.     • Pretty good not perfect.
It’s exactly as advertised and perfect as a cards only holder. Fits nicely in front pocket. Weirdly it’s just centimeters too short for bills that are single folded; forcing you to double fold any bills which makes them thicker therefore taking up more space.

I'm in love with this wallet. I don't use it for paper bills. it's not really useful for that. The number of cards you can hold in it depends on if they are flat or embossed cards. I current have 2 non embossed cards in the quick access pocket and 5 non embossed cards in the bigger pocket. That's pretty much it's limit. Trying to squeeze in any more will prevent it from staying snapped closed. Purchase according to your needs. This may not be enough cards for everybody. You will need a money clip to keep your cash separately ... show more

I used to use a slim wallet, but ditched it when it was worn out and switched to a bifold because I couldn't find a worthy replacement. When I saw this Bellroy, I gave it a shot because it is unique. Unfortunately, it's not very practical and makes putting in/removing cards a pain. It's not obvious how many cards fit into each slot on the "regular" side, and if you put in too many, then the wallet won't close properly. If you put in the maximum amount of cards (as stated) into the slots, then removing them is difficult, and often requires you to remove multiple just to get the one you need. This wallet is a good idea for someone who needs just a couple of cards because filling it up as described makes it impossible to use on a daily basis. If you need to access cards quickly, then I won't recommend something like this. I ended up returning this and going back to a bifold. Pros: slim, innovative design, looks good, magnetic clasp is sturdy Cons: impractical for most people, doesn't actually fit 8 cards if you want to use your wallet, expensive ... show more

It's definitely not as premium feeling as i was expecting considering the price, it's quite a pain to open the larger half of the wallet and I would have loved if the cards fanned out a little when you open it so if you need a card that is at the top you don't need to pull out each card before it before being able to pull it out. ... show more
