Typical Bellroy quality. Super nice stuff. The plastic frame doesn't allow for extra cards to be jammed in there like the full leather card holders. The magnetic closures are invisible and work great. All edges are smooth. One hand operation is useful. Enough space in the larger side to hold cards and 5 bills.

I got the flip case almost two years ago. I never write product reviews but this case held up so well I had to. I keep 6 cards and 2 bills in the larger compartment and my most used 2 cards in the front. Accessing cards is so easy you could do it using only one hand. I love how the cards are completely covered unlike those cases with just two metal plates and a band holding them. Build quality is great, and the whole case is not much thicker than the cards themselves. And the leather has developed a nice patina over time. 10/10 would recommend!

I used to use a slim wallet, but ditched it when it was worn out and switched to a bifold because I couldn't find a worthy replacement. When I saw this Bellroy, I gave it a shot because it is unique. Unfortunately, it's not very practical and makes putting in/removing cards a pain. It's not obvious how many cards fit into each slot on the "regular" side, and if you put in too many, then the wallet won't close properly. If you put in the maximum amount of cards (as stated) into the slots, then removing them is difficult, and often requires you to remove multiple just to get the one you need. This wallet is a good idea for someone who needs just a couple of cards because filling it up as described makes it impossible to use on a daily basis. If you need to access cards quickly, then I won't recommend something like this. I ended up returning this and going back to a bifold. Pros: slim, innovative design, looks good, magnetic clasp is sturdy Cons: impractical for most people, doesn't actually fit 8 cards if you want to use your wallet, expensive

I like this wallet a lot. It’s very minimal and light. Great for suits when I don’t want to take a bulky wallet. Only issue or that the magnet could be a little stronger. I dropped it once and my cards went flying all over the place. Overall, I still enjoy the wallets sleek look and functionality

I've been looking for an ideal front wallet for years. I got the Belroy flip case today. This is exactly what I was looking for. The pros: - Looks and feels awesome. - Very slim. Exactly what I was looking for. - The front slot fit two cards comfortably. The cons: - The back slot, which is supposed to hold 5 cards + cash. In reality, I could only get 4 cards + one folded US bill. I tried 5 cards and 4 bills, but it was tight enough that stuff would've fallen out when retrieving any of it. Overall, I like it a lot. My only complaint is that the back slot could've been a few mm roomier. The case is already pretty slim, so I think it could be easily a few mm thicker for that extra room.

I’ve been using the gen 1 version for years and have loved every second of it! The magnetic closures are solid and extremely satisfying. It holds six total cards with a couple folded bills easily. After beating up my gen 1 unit for years, I finally got this gen 2 unit and I love it just as much! Bellroy makes some excellent products which I will probably continue to use for the rest of my life!

This is a space constrained wallet given its hard shell that closes completely. This is great because: -it is small -fixed size -and cards cannot readily fall out (this happened frequently to me in other slim wallets that stretched). This is not so great because it doesn't handle paper bills or receipts very well so if you want to carry cash, look elsewhere. The leather has a nice feel to it and seems to be improving in feel the more I use it. It is listed as RFID blocking but I don't have a way to test that. I was happily surprised that my datawatch card WORKS through it. Very pleased overall.
