  • Didn’t work for me
Size: 0.5 Fl Oz (Pack of 1)
Unfortunately, this product just didn’t work for me. On top of that, the smell is very strong. Hopefully it works for you though!

  • Effective acne medicine, hate the packaging
Size: 0.5 Fl Oz (Pack of 1)
The cream itself is good and works for me. I am not pregnant but people who have found that the usual suspects for acne fighting active ingredients (benzoyl peroxide, salycilic acid) don't work for them may want to try this, as the active ingredient is sulphur (and in the companion face wash, is lactic acid). The smell of sulphur does not particularly bother me and I find it unnoticeable once it is absorbed into my skin, but clearly others are more sensitive. That's something to keep in mind if you are sensitive to smells because the only way to not smell sulphur in your skincare is to use a product without it. This product (along with cutting dairy out of my diet) helped clear up my adult acne which had previously resisted about $1200 in light treatments, peels and other professional dermatological services/Dr. visits. The cream itself is 5 stars. The packaging is 1 star: *Annoying and expensive* - it is incredibly aggravating over the old pliable tubes they used to have and it smacks of price gouging. Originally the price went from $12 for the tube to $21 for the pump with the same 0.5 oz inside. It's since been lowered to $17 (or so, perhaps depending on the seller), which still represents a stable, near-50% increase in price JUST FOR PACKAGING. *Wasteful and unhygienic* - The pump stops delivering product when there is about 1/3rd of the cream left in the bottle, so that you have to unscrew the top to ketchup-bottle-smack it out, inevitably delivering a huge glop into your hand. I scrape the excess off my hand and back into the bottle, and though my hands are clean, clearly this is not as hygienic as using the pump. *Not travel-friendly* - The pump takes up valuable space in my 311 bag, about the same amount of space as 2-3 of the old tubes. The empty bottle weighs 1.5 oz all by itself versus the old tubes that weighed virtually nothing. When embarking on travel of a couple of weeks or longer or traveling on budget European airlines, it is important to review these things when you consider that a T shirt or thin swim cover up might only weigh 3oz. I use 1-2 pumps twice a day, and the half ounce lasts me 2-3 weeks. When embarking on travel longer than that, I'm forced to decant the cream into a travel tube, which is made difficult by the aforementioned pump issue. The last time I tried to bring a full ounce with me on vacation, I was left with 3 partly empty bottles after the pumps stopped delivering product. *Suggestion for Belli* If you guys are listening, please consider reverting to the old packaging or perhaps offering a 1oz size in a small lightweight tube. I would personally be fine paying $20 for that. ... show more

  • Not an overnight treatment, but definitely effective with regular use
Size: 0.5 Fl Oz (Pack of 1)
My ob gyn okayed this and asked me to use it no more than once in 12 hours. This is the only anti-acne thing I am using right now. I docked a star because it is definitely not “overnight”, but other than that I am very satisfied with it. I see improvements after a couple of days- inflammation goes down and the pimples shrink visibly. It takes a while for them to fully go away, so you have to be patient. I have one that started off as a cystic acne and now it is almost invisible, just a bump to the touch, and I am waiting to see if it ever goes away completely with regular treatment. There are things about this ointment that will never let me go back to my usual OTC benzoyl peroxide remedies. For one, this absorbs really fast and doesn’t leave a trace, which means I can wear it to work and not be self-conscious. Anything extra does dry up and makes it look as the skin is flaking, but just brush it off. I have dry, sensitive skin, and while I feel a bit of tingling every time I apply it, it goes away quickly and I have experienced no side effects. Easy absorbing ointments are great, because benzoyl peroxide can bleach dark fabrics and I always found it annoying, so I am really happy with this ointment. Some reviewers mentioned problems with the smell, but I found the product to be odorless, despite my heightened pregnancy sense of smell. I think if in the future I notice the product starts to smell I will discard it, maybe it is a sign of stuff going bad, i don’t know. Overall i recommend this and will continue to use it even post pregnancy. Just check with your doctor, if they say it is safe for you, do give it a try. ... show more

  • Totally helped my Pregnancy Acne!
Size: 0.5 Fl Oz (Pack of 1)
Ladies! If you are struggling with pregnancy acne, you have to try this product. I was looking all over for a acne product that was safe to use during pregnancy. I stumbled upon this company and decided to try it out. It was one of the less pricier options that I had found, but I didn't want to spend a ton on something that I didn't know if it would work or not. I was slightly skeptical when I opened the box and saw how small the bottle was but went into after that with an open mind. I have only been using the product for about a week now and I have already seen such a difference in my skin. The smell is not the best, but I'll take the smell over acne any day. I was feeling so down about myself because of how bad my jaw line was breaking out, but this product is saving me from that. Totally recommend this product. ... show more

  • Second Pregnancy, Second Tube!
Size: 0.5 Fl Oz (Pack of 1)
I really like this stuff. I'm going through my second pregnancy now and was so glad to have found this the first time around. My first trimester of both pregnancies involved more acne than usual, and it feels good to have a clean, safe product to use. I've worn this during the day (rub it in, moisturize next, then add makeup if you wear it) and also globbed it on at night (dab on problem areas and let it do its thing overnight). I'm not sure which is more effective, but I have noticed that when I wake in the morning, the "globs" are white and peeling (not my skin - the product). This isn't a total miracle product, but it is definitely somewhat effective. I will probably continue to use this while I breastfeed baby #2, and maybe even beyond. I just like clean products! ... show more

  • Stinky
Size: 0.5 Fl Oz (Pack of 1)
Before I purchased this, I had patches of acne forming on my cheeks and forehead. I feel like this product worked to eliminate the acne, but it has a strong scent that both my husband and I found to be unpleasant. I guess it's a bit of a trade-off to get something that is natural and pregnancy safe.
