i have never written a review ... i was so stressed over putting this together myself because of the many many boards and parts but the directions were so clear and towards the end i GOT IT! didn't need the directions i got rid of a huge entertainment expensive unit and was so unsure that this would take its place and not being cheap looking it is beautiful! so heavy and expensive looking for the money i took my time took me 3 days to put together a few hours at a time because i am so meticulous and don't want to mess up in the beginning so as not to take it apart at the end..... no, instructions were amazing all hardware lined up perfectly 25 pieces. But the holes that were not drilled through, like the hinges, do yourself a favor and drill them before you attempt the screws.... also the back did not have predrilled holes, but that was not a problem, i just drilled my own i was scared but i went one page at time and it was amazing im so proud of myself! just don't listen to the hour set up nooooo it took me an hour to walk up pieces by pieces to my living room probably the best set up furniture ive ever encountered i should work for ikea after this lol

The 48-inch piece of furniture fit perfectly in our small sitting room. The boxed was delivered a few days early by FedEx. The FedEx driver left the large box in my driveway next to the road and garage. I didn’t know it was delivered till several hours later. The box is quite heavy; about 100 pounds. It included the fireplace insert. I opened the box and carried each piece into the house. The parts were well protected by styrofoam, so if the delivery driver dropped it; it would be well protected from breakage. I put this together myself. All the tools, screws, and parts were neatly packaged by alphabet letter. They provided one extra of each screw. Each hole lined up perfectly except the backing. The backing parts of the cabinet holes did not line up, so those screws had to be drilled in. The drawing could be better. Makes sure your door holes face the front of cabinet, and the shelf holes face the inside of the compartment with the doors. I failed to do that, so I had to tar it apart. The cabinet came apart easily and went back together in 15 minutes. It is a sturdy piece of furniture after the backing is placed. The fireplace insert fits squarely in the middle of cabinet. I am happy with this purchase and would purchase again.

UPDATE: Great customer service - helped us fix our noisy fireplace noise. If we were not satisfied they were going to send a new insert. I love everything about this console! Love the looks of the Console - the fireplace insert when you turn on has this loud clicking noise like an unbalanced washing machine. I have contacted the company who said this is how it is supposed to sound. I have sent an email to the company and I hope this can be resolved. I will update once I have more information. I am really hoping for a positive outcome so I don't have to return the item.

This is a update from my previous review. This product did not arrive on time and was actually 3 days late. When we did get this delivered it was in one large heavy box. All pieces were clearly marked with lettering that made putting it together fairly easy. It took two adults with building experience 2 hours to complete. One issue is with the front piece, it didn't stay on so we had to add some wood glue and a couple of clamps to get it to stay in place while we assembled the remaining parts. Wasn't really a problem. The wood pieces have a real wood look and are really pretty. The electric fireplace insert was easy to install. It puts out a good amount of heat. Once it was all assembled it is very sturdy and solid. It comes with straps to attach to the wall to prevent tipping over. We put our 65" tv on top and it looks beautiful. It sits pretty flush with the wall. All in all not a bad deal for the money. I just wish that they were honest with shipping details. This was shipped Fed-ex ground and there was no way it would be a two day delivery.

Very sturdy and stable. If you take your time, can be assembled by one person. Plenty of room in the cabinets and openings for cords. The flames are pretty - but the logs and embers wouldn't fool anyone. Puts out a good amount of heat for chilly evenings.

Overall this is a killer deal. I didn't care for paying for shipping but it was only 30 bucks and I got it in a couple days. Let me start off by saying I sold furniture for 6 years so I know a TV stand like this is usually twice as much. I couldn't find anything at local stores for close to the price plus it includes a working fireplace so bonus. In pictures it looks like there shouldn't be much assembly but I assure you it's like putting together a Lego set. But the instructions are very clear and it ends up being very sturdy. Says it's made for a 65 inch TV but my 75 inch fits perfectly and looks great. The front doors are nice and easy to adjust. You can't see it but there are hidden holes for cords in the back. Guess my only complaints are the item shipped early which is cool but they gave me no notice I just happened to be tracking the process. Fed Ex sucks but it is packed very well. They left it in my driveway and didn't even knock on the door and like I said no text, no e-mail I just happened to be looking for it. I about killed myself trying to get it on my porch and into the house. Had I not been home and not looking for it someone would of stolen it. After recovering from nearly dying getting it in the house after I opened it I couldn't believe how many pieces it actually comes in. Anyhow take your time, follow the simple instructions, use a drill for the tons of screws and it will be worth it. I'm overly happy with the look of it after assembled. Enjoy the pics. Hope this gives you a good idea of what you're in for.

Says 60 minute setup lol. Not a chance. It took me about 2.5 hours by myself. I was going slow and being careful though. They didn't pre drill a lot of the holes. So be prepared to use some extra elbow grease or a power took to get them in there. I'm satisfied with it though. it looks great and it's very sturdy.
