Although this bench is easy to assemble.. it began rusting almost immediately. And after about a month, the paint stared to peel off. My white bench is almost all peeled off and black. When I first got these a little more than a month ago, I loved them! I want to still love them! They are pretty and sturdy. However, the pictures show that the insert back of the bench is already showing rust!! So I would warn you that these need weather proofing if you buy them before they get wet, or you will be spraying the Rust-Oleum at the end of the season, like me!! ... show more

I bought this for our anniversary gift to go under a huge Mimosa tree in our front courtyard. My husband built a raised platform out of large pavers. I love the rose design on the back of the bench and it is very sturdy withstanding the high winds we have now and then. Not only beautiful but easy to assemble and sturdy. Great bench for the money too. I love my bench! Would highly recommend! UPDATE! I did love my bench but just a few weeks later it's starting to rust. Just when I was getting ready to order a second one. I would suggest spraying a clear coat over this bench when you get it. Nice looking bench. Imperfect paint and is not sturdy for two adults. It came without washers and poor instructions. It requires two people to assemble it. Highly recommended to wear eyewear during assembling. The L wrench doesn't fit well so it will fly out into your face, if you turn it too fast.

It's a nice bench, pretty sturdy but it was a little tricky to put together & both arms were marred through the paint down to the metal in a small spot, right where the curve is. The box was pretty roughed up, which is probably why the arms got scuffed up like they did.
