    • Good way to get rid of carpenter ants
For years we were plagued with carpenter ants. The rear of our house is in the woods. The house is not that old and neighbors have had this problem too. We had a water problem where water was getting into our game room and garage, so we had an internal French drain with pump installed that cost about $5,000. We still had ants. We then put in Leaf Filter in our gutters thinking the water and drainage had something to do with the ants. It was great at alleviating the drainage problem, but we still had carpenter ants. I then ordered 2 sets of Bell and Howell pest Repellers and the ants honestly, left. Our rear porch and back patio have no ants. I honestly think they left because the sound from the repellers scared them and perhaps fixing the drainage helped. I swear by these and just bought my third set of repellers. They are all over my house from kitchen, dining room, living room, family room, garage, bathrooms and all bedrooms. The ants are gone....so something must have worked and I did not use bug spray. I bought the 6 pk and immediately had results until 6 months or so passed. We got another 6 pk. Havent seen results yet. They state they're supposed to work up to 3 years. Date on back of product is already a year old. It's hit or miss, maybe it'd help if products were sold closer to manufactured date. Im not sure. I have yet to see one work a year. ... show more

    • Pest deterrent
The media could not be loaded. The pest deterrent came in a multi pack at about the same price as I paid for one. I found that it takes about a month for you to see results with mice but spiders began to bail out in 2 days. It works best for mice when you keep it close to the floor and place the devices where the mice travel. The higher price one I bought has already stop working and this set keeps going. Of course, you must not leave food out to further deter pest. but his device works great when you follow the instructions. The signal is line of sight so it can be blocked by items in the direction it is pointed. Move items out of the path of the signal for best results. ... show more

This product could not completely get rid of the mosquitoes inside. Once in a while there’s one or two lurking around. But overall I think it helps a lot.

    • BUGS BE GONE - I expect these work as well as the last one I used for the last 10+ years.
I have had one labeled with a brand that no longer makes the product. I plugged it in my kitchen more than 10 years ago and the black line of daily ants receded and finally left forever. The bonus has been that it worked for every kind of bug. I think even the flies could not wait to get back out the door. The only way to really test these is to have some bugs hanging out and plug it in and wait to see if they leave. Recently a few tiny little ants and two tiny spiders seem to ignore my device, so I decided it is time to replace and renew. Giving product 4 stars because the blinking light is brighter than expected so in some rooms, it will have to be covered to avoid the annoyance. ... show more

    • Annoying, flashing red LED light
I don't know if these will work or not, but I can't use them in my bedroom or living room because of the flashing red LED lights on them. Flashing + red = drilling into my brain; just can't do it. Not able to use half the items in the package.
