Buyer please beware I was expecting a cheap violin but the quality of this violin is basically that of a 20$ Walmart violin if they had one. It's like those cheap toy guitars except instead of plastic strings it has metal ones. The tuning stems are just little plastic pieces with poorly drilled holes. The bridge is a thin piece of basically cardboard (soft cork like material) you'd be better off buying a used violin locally and actually get 60 dollars worth. For the price I won't bother sending it back but letting my 7 year old learn and practice on it until I get her a real one. Size in picture is 1/8 pretty small for my 7 year old who is also small but still works. Could've gone bigger. ... show more

this is a Way over priced child toy. It has plastic parts and is very cheaply made. I could’ve bought this at Walmart for $15. The case had mildew all over it. I will be returning.
