My 20 month grandson enjoyed this matching game. He didn't have too much problem aligning the holes to the pegs. He enjoyed figuring it out, and problem solving if it didn't fit. The colors are bright and the pieces are lightweight and easily manipulated. It's a narrow piece, so it easily fits on a table with adults, keeping him plenty busy without taking up much space.

These are cute little montessory - style puzzles. My son likes playing with these and we get to work with him on colors, shapes, and numbers.

The toy provides an exercise for the child to develop association skills. The association will based association; specifically shape, color and number (of holes). I purchased it for my youngest grandchild who, is one. It turned out that other, older grandchildren were more interested in it. What I liked about this toy: 1. The paint coating on the (shaped) tiles is adequate, with a smooth surface and no bare/light patches. 2. The paint colors are primary. 3. There are no sharp edges on either the tiles or the base/posts. 4. The price is reasonable for what it is. Two drawbacks of the toy are: 1. The colors on the tiles are not as vibrant as depicted in the product image. 2. The box the toy comes in is exceedingly flimsy. Because the toy is multiple pieces, it would be nice if the packaging were more durable in order to store the pieces all together and help prevent separation or loss. This is small gripe, because a longer term snap-close-lid container could easily be employed. Finally, based upon observation, I think that the toy might be better suited for children 18 months and older.
