We did several online research for a good front child bike seat. and several options which had a good rating/reviews in the market were very expensive; this option was reasonably priced. Although we were skeptic with the amazon ratings/review we still thought of trying it out. The installation was okay, not too difficult (but wasn't a piece of cake). The built of the product is of good quality and sturdy, took us about 30 minutes. Once things were tightened, it was the moment of truth. Our 3 year old was comfortable seating on it and the seat was stable. The only thing is it's not easily detachable, and requires getting the tools and reversing the installation. Also the price got reduced slightly after we purchased it. Overall we are satisfied and recommend; especially if you don't want to spent upward of $100 - $200.

The media could not be loaded. This thing is absolutely terrible. First off, when doing the assembly, I discovered that they'd basically painted the seat pivot assembly (two parts) at the same time; so they became one piece paint "welded" together. Fortunately was able to knock it loose. And that wouldn't have been the end of the world. If it weren't for the other more significant issues. Both of which pose serious SAFETY CONCERNS. First and foremost, I don't care how much you tighten the seat bracket to the frame. It won't stay put. Check out the video to see how it wobbles around. My wife used this seat one time, on a short ride with our 2 year old. And he was shifting back and forth the whole time. She had to keep stopping to reposition him. I know what I'm doing with assembling stuff. This one was pretty straightforward. The issue is their method for securing the bracket. They basically use an oversized rivet nut and a long bolt. Which is a terrible choice and will simply not work to secure the bracket. One, you can't get it tight enough without holding on to the rivet nut with a pair of pliers. So your average soccer mom won't be able to do this (or even think to do it). I did snug it up using pliers to keep the rivet nut from spinning. I got it as tight as I absolutely could. But still the whole bracket moves with very little force. You can even see in the video how the two "arms" are bowed in towards each other from the tightening force I managed on the bolt. Which the metal bending like that is frankly an entirely different concern that doesn't instill confidence. Again, this is a MASSIVE FLAW that posses serious risk to the young rider. Couple that with the foot pedal failing in the first 20 minutes. It's made of cheap plastic, with a rubber strap that attaches to the post. Well, the tab at the end of one of the posts broke off. So now the strap on that side can't be secured. Bottom line, do NOT risk it with this junk product.

It doesn't fit the bike properly. If you have a bike where the down tube is wider than the top tube, pls stay away from this product. It doesn't stay in place and keep moving back no matter how much you tighten the QR.

Too short to mount on my bike

Nothing about this product is quick or releasable—and it doesn’t work. Tons of nuts and bolts, the “quick release” doesn’t actually release the seat from the frame. Even when completely tightened, the seat slides around freely.
