We are getting this bassinet for my sister in law’s expecting baby. The idea of setting up of the bassinet right next to the bed definitely a peace of mind for a new mom, especially since the mesh sides make it incredibly easy to peek in and check on the baby from where new mom will be sleeping. The zipper-side design is fantastic. From my past experience with my own babies, being able to lower the side panel makes middle-of-the-night nursing and comforting so much easier without having to constantly get completely out of bed. It feels very stable and secure when zipped up. With 4 different height levels, it was easy to get it to align nicely with different mattress height as my sister in law’s bed is about 30 inch tall. We tried the Clever Wheel Design, the auto-lock wheels are actually really smart. When you lift one side, you can wheel it around, but as soon as you set it flat, the wheels retract so it doesn't slide around on its own. This is a big plus to my sister in law if she needs to have baby around her when she’s working on some chores in the house. It does have a maximum weight recommendation of 15 pounds. Since the baby will be growing fast, in my opinion this bassinet is only perfect for the babies for their newborn stage. While it's "fold and go," it does fold down into a carry-on size travel bag. However, because of the sturdy carbon steel frame, it has a bit of weight to it, but it is still definitely sturdier than a flimsy travel pop-up. And yet still be able to carry around if she decide to go other places with her bay for sleepover. Overall, if you are looking for a reliable, easy-access bedside sleeper that secures safely to your bed with straps, this is an excellent choice for the price.

I ordered the BEKA Bassinet Bedside Sleeper as a gift for a close friend who recently became a new mother, and overall she has been very happy with it. After helping her set it up and hearing her feedback over the first few weeks, I think it's a well-designed bassinet that offers a lot of convenience during those exhausting newborn months. One of the biggest selling points is the bedside sleeper design. Being able to keep the baby close at night without having to constantly get out of bed has made nighttime feedings and check-ins much easier for her. The drop-down side is simple to use and gives quick access to the baby while still providing a separate sleeping space. The adjustable height feature was also very useful. Her bed sits a little higher than average, so being able to match the bassinet height helped create a seamless bedside setup. The breathable mesh sides are another feature she really appreciates because they allow good airflow and make it easy to see the baby at all times. The bassinet feels sturdy once assembled, and the locking wheels make it easy to move from room to room during the day. She often rolls it into the living room while relaxing or doing light chores, then brings it back to the bedroom at night. The mattress is comfortable enough for a newborn, and the overall design looks clean and modern without taking up too much space. The reason I'm giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is that there are a few minor drawbacks. While it is marketed as portable and foldable, it's a bit bulkier and heavier than expected once fully assembled. It's certainly movable around the house, but not something most parents will want to frequently pack up for travel. Adding to this, the wheels are a bit hard to move on carpet but too smooth on hard, smooth surfaces. Also, babies grow quickly, and like many bassinets, the usable window may be shorter than some parents expect depending on the baby's size and development. The 2-in-1 angle is what sets this one apart from the field — it converts from a bedside co-sleeper to a standalone crib without buying a second piece of furniture, which extends the useful life past the first few months.
