I was warned by other viewers how thin the material was. So hubby cut 1" thick wood piece x three foot sections (this way we could fold like an accordion). We were going to hang from the ceiling with 20lb fishing line (picture the wood sections with little brass loops on top). But we arrived at the ball room, the ceiling did not go to the edge of the wall. So we quickly used wall putty instead. We had six people hold it up and worked together to place on the wall (bamboo wallpaper). The material is thin, just like a garbage bag but not really bad. It lasted for two days and the photos looked awesome! We rolled it up to save for another theme party (pirate and luau theme). ... show more

I bought this for my son’s beach themed pool party. It looked great set up by our pool! The length and size was just perfect for my fence. The plastic was sturdy enough to survive a semi-windy day. It was a hit with my guest!

We used 2 of these as a backdrop for our beach themed VBS. We used the sand color in conjunction with the ocean view. They worked perfectly as we taped them together and hung them up on a wire. They were thick enough to hold up, but not to heavy to pull on the wire.

I put this on a window outdoors so it looks like the beach was out side of the window on the second week of May and it is still there in the middle of June through the rain wind and heat It has stood up. It is really good quality.

I used this backdrop for a ping pong/goldfish carnival game. The material is almost exactly like the rolls of plastic tablecloth material you can purchase at a party supply. Though it is very thin, it it fairly durable. After the carnival I was able to fold it up and pack it away for future use... I imagine I will be able to get at least four to five uses out of it depending, of course, on who sets it up and who takes it down. For the price, I imagined this would be the typical thickness of a of a vinyl backdrop. It's basically comparable to a dollar store table cloth. You know, the ones that tear when you are trying to set them up? Forget about using this as a floor backdrop... where sand is actually found. Any movement on it will rip it. The fold lines are so imbedded in the cheap, thin vinyl and you can't get them out. So no matter what you use this for, you will see the fold lines. I really can't see any use except to be taped on to a wall. I found it useless and a waste of $15. ... show more

We bought this backdrop for a beach party theme for my son's wedding rehearsal dinner. It was adorable and a big hit. I even plan on re-using it for my daughters birthday. It's huge (long) and of good quality. I definitely recommend it.
