My toy poodle is 13 lbs, and chest is almost 17. I went by their sizing chart, and it fits. as a Medium size. He usually wears a Small. Fairly easy on and off. He wears this with straps 3/4 of the way adjusted. If you don't adjust it correctly, it will turn to the side as you leash walk them. But easy to get the neck area too tight, so that is something to watch. And the girth area will work, but don't want it pushing into the breast bone. We put his just below it. So far it works well. He's a real little bobby dazzler as he struts around in his lime green t-shirt and this harness over it. We always remove his harnesses at bedtime. ... show more

This harness is great. Right now it is just a little big. I ordered it that way so there would be room for our puppy to grow. It is a good looking and well made piece. The best quality for me is how easy it is to put on and take off. No velcro to catch hair. My arthritic hands can operate the larger size clasps with ease. Very cute harness! Runs a little small. I am having to remove the belly strap, insert a strip of elastic and reattach the nylon strap to the elastic so it will fit my 6lb Chihuahua.

This harness is GORGEOUS in terms of the super blingy rhinestones however the fabric is EXTREMELY STIFF its a canvas material with no give on your dogs body if the manufacturer would have made it on softer material I would have given it a 5 star rating. The 1st one ordered had missing stones on it so I didn't put it on my 4lb yorkie just returned it and received a new one the next day ! Seller was very fast in the exchange. 2nd harnesses is how I discovered the fit and the uncomfortableness on my 4lb yorkie the look is very heavy like a military vest. Perhaps on a larger dog it would look better.? Plus there was a piece of fabric by the collar that wouldn't stay tucked under the collar.
