    • Not Very Isolated
I used this to try to mic a guitar. It mounted fine, but even with little volume there was way too much feedback to even try it further. Maybe for a different application it would work out, but not where you need a lot of external noise rejection.

this microphone worked when I unboxed, however within minutes the only sound coming from the microphone was a loud hum. The cable is very, very flimsy on this mic - so possible there is a short somewhere, maybe not. Either way this mic is a piece of garbage.

    • Look Music Tribe (owns Berhinger) up on BBB before you buy.
After six months, the microphone started making a loud, low hum that I couldn't get rid of. I tried different cables, speakers, interfaces, etc., and nothing seemed to help. Since it was still under the one-year warrantee, I contacted Music Tribe, which now owns Berhinger, and they basically ghosted me and gave me no help whatsoever. I sent several emails and got no response. Amazon was kind enough to give me a full refund. I'll never buy any products that fall under the Music Tribe umbrella again. ... show more

I use this for accordion and it’s fantastic. Just gaff tape it to the side and you’re ready to go.

    • Excellent Horn Mic for Live Performances
I picked up one of these as an emergency fill-in for one of the trumpet players in the band I work with after his Shure bell mic failed the day before a show. I was very impressed with the overall construction, the pickup pattern, and responsiveness of this mic. Hotter than the Shure, the gain requirements are much lower to get a great horn tone. I like the fact the mic isn’t permanently attached to the input, unlike the Shure version which has proved to be a failure point in their much more expensive version. I ended up replacing all 5 of our horn players mics with these, and I’m very pleased. Works great on Sax, Trumpets, Trombone, and other bell instruments. Note that they don’t have a clip included, but HEIMU makes a bunch of compatible clips and are available cheaply here on Amazon. ... show more
