I liked the fact that the order was filled promptly, and it seems to meet our needs….I purchased the ladder for use inside our home (to reach smoke alarms and light fixtures on our high ceilings.); but it is not a ladder I would recommend for daily commercial use. It seems stable enough, but I’m not sure I would feel safe using it ( fully extended) on a daily basis if I were a painting or construction contractor. I would worry that the tubing might collapse, or the locking joint might fail. There are heavier and stronger alternatives for that type of application. But for occasional and relatively lighter duty, it should be fine. I should add that it was a bit heavier than I expected, but the wheels make it easy to move from room to room. Use of the ladder does take some practice to insure that each rung is extended fully and the locking mechanism is fully engaged…or it could slide back down suddenly. And be careful collapsing the ladder. The first time I tried to collapse it with it standing in the A-frame configuration, it almost fell over on me as I unlocked the lowest rung on one side. It might be safer to extend and collapse the ladder when it is lying down ( if you have the space allowing it). When the ladder arrives, the only assembly required was to add the stabilizer bar and wheels at the bottom of the ladder. I did encounter some difficulty inserting the bolts that hold the stabilizer on the ladder, as the holes between the bar and ladder leg did not quite line up. Fortunately they were close, so I didn’t have to drill them out and was able to wedge them into alignment so I could install the bolts. ... show more

If you are over 180 It’s a no. trust me!!! I’m 170 and it scares me at a full 18-1/2 feet But I still use it all the time so there’s that.

This ladder is very sturdy and very portable very lightweight the only drawback to it is it needs a way to lock when it's not extended out and you're on it either one side of the other will rock so you have to balance yourself on this ladder for it not to shift on you other than that I give it five stars through and through ... show more

I like how compact this ladder folds up but it is darn scary because when even half extended it is super bendy and deflects a lot. I definitely wouldn’t want a heavy set human to climb it and would not recommend it if you have even a semi regular need to use it. The biggest positive is how compact it can become to move and store. It does take some getting used to in terms of setup/takedown and not pinch your fingers. Because it telescoped it feels less sturdy than it is, so if you are not comfortable on ladders to begin with, maybe look for a more solid option. ... show more

Nice ladder to have in my SUV for installs but wish it was more sturdy when it’s higher as an A Frame. The wheels make it nice to roll around even tho it is light enough to carry. Watch your fingers when releasing the extensions, easier to do with 2 people but can be done alone.

I had a friend attempt to use the ladder for me, he weighs about the same as me, well under the load rating, and decided he didn't feel safe with the ladder beginning to bow at the center as he climbed towards the top. He caame back down and had me look at the ladder from the side and i saw the bow without any weight and decided to send it back immediately. I can't recommend this product. ... show more
