Thus is a very nice well put together kit. My first time doing poly gel. I tried rhe forms first and didn't care for them as much. Seemed to build up as I put them on my nail under and I didn't like all that fileing under to get them shaped and even then it didn't shape right so I removed them and did Luke tou would acrylic. Placed a tip on with nail glue at the tip of my nail. And laid the poly gel on like you would acrylic in a sense and they look nice for the second/ first official set. I've gotten compliments on how nice they look. And honestly can't tell any difference in this and acrylic. I've had experience with DIY in acrylic and could do decent. The chipping ypu notice in rhe pictures is from me....I' have adhd so I pick at my nails some it wasn't because the product failed. And I've had them on a week now. Update added photos of my little sister in laws nails that we did in pink and we love them this is so nice and easy to do compared to the acrylics and dip kits I've used. Make sure you leave that little space around your sidewalls and cuticle so they don't lift

I have been doing my own acrylic nails for about two years. I never liked how much time it took. My family hated the smell. Poly nail gel is definitely the way to go! It took far less time, my nails are perfectly shaped, and my family didn't smell a thing. This is a fabulous product!

Update 5/13/24: one broke off while I was asleep. Not sure how that happened. I went to take off an bracelet/ ankle bracelet with a clasp & it pushed into my nail cracking the corner. Instructions are very clear it did take me 2 hours to do both hands. Started with my left & that looks a little rough compared to my right. I had to re-do two nails because I didn’t get the gel to seal on my nail. I followed all the instructions to a T & they were pretty easy to do once you figured how much gel to put on the nail. I will say I normal get short nails when I go get my nails done & it’s hard to make them short with this so they are a tad longer than I would like.

I like the the different colors this poly gel came in. I don't like the inconsistenties with each color. Each color had a different texture, tackiness and workability with the slip. I bought this for myself as a new alternative to acrylic and gelx. I've been using it for 3 months and think I've finally got it 😂. Once this runs out idk if I'll repurchase this item, but I definitely love this companies polish.

I bought the “lazy girl” kit for $9.99.. I didn’t pay attention and thought it came with the gel form tips not the whole beetle nail kit, so I was a little bummed. BUT I bought the half nail tips and did “step by step” like a salon would. REALLY clean your nails/cuticles before applying. I used the gel like a “fill” and these bad boys have lasted 2 weeks… I was spending $80 every 2 weeks at a salon. Doing this for 10 bucks is easier because I do not have to leave my house.. it’s my 2nd “fill” or whatever you want to say. I have a lot more learning to do (I’m right handed and obviously this is my right hand in the pic so my left hand has to learn to be steadier) but enough practice makes perfect. And I’m saving a butt load of money. Can’t wait to try chrome soon and cat eye once I master the art!

Wanted to give this the benefit of the doubt but it really sucks. I got primer and dehydrator to help it stick but they didnt last a few hours. The nail lamp sucks but its a $10 kit so i cant complain much. It may seem like its good but it doesnt cure the middle (like a gusher or chocolate filled cracker). I have a somewhat flatter nail bed so that could be the issue but the forms dont stay in place properly or long enough to actually cure it, causing bubbles. I had some nail stickers to cover it but its only but so much you can do with that. If you have the option to get a different kit, definitely pick that over this. Ofcourse this could just be user error but i personally don’t believe it was worth the money.

Trial and error of course! But def love how easy the product is to use! Easy instructions! The light does get hot so have to be careful!! Love these colors! Salons are getting very expensive specially for just a simple color and style…so this is such an inexpensive option! I love it!!
