This is the only deodorant I will use, I really like this fragrance. I do like alot of the others too. But I can put this on in the morning and not have to worry. It's garden to find so thats why I buy from Amazon.

I've used pretty much every natural deodorant that exists and Schmidt's is my go to brand. This scent is light and clean--I never have to worry about body odor. My only complaint, which happens with all these deodorants is they burn my skin. I'm sensitive to the scented oil so the inner armpit skin gets a little red but honestly not the worst thing in the world. This is my favorite brand by far.

I so badly wanted to LOVE this deodorant. In fact, I did the first few days of use and couldn't wait to get on here and post a review making sure the world knew I thought it was wonderful!! It was the FIRST natural deodorant I've tried that didn't need to be reapplied multiple times in a day. In fact, I was pleasantly surprised the sweet vanilla rose scent could still be smelt the following day when I woke up! It seemed to be such good quality, I thought 1 application might last 2 days in a row (of course I didn't want to experiment with that so I always reapplied the next morning. Ha!) As does, life happened so a few days turned into a few weeks and I still hadn't got around to writing that review. During that time, my opinion changed... drastically. The first thing I noticed were the sweat stains on my shirts. The only thing worse than having black shirts stained with white deodorant marks is having white shirts stained with BROWN deodorant marks. I'm not talking an old shirt that had gradually been stained in the armpits over time like all shirts do. I'm talking a BRAND NEW white shirt that had never been worn. I started paying more attention and every light colored shirt I wore stained brown / orange sweat marks; because, as you can see from my picture, the color of the deodorant is brownish. So that was the first big bummer. But like all natural things, the deodorant is more costly than something from a drug store and I can't just keep buying a new natural deodorant every time one doesn't work. And because I love the scent of this so much and love the lasting protection it gives, I decided to see my deodorant stick through to the end. A few days later I noticed a few red bumps on my armpits. I thought it was a razor burn or from my bra digging into my armpit. I stopped wearing that bra and gave it a few days to see if the bumps went away. And here we are 2 weeks later and the bumps have gotten WAY worse. They aren't itchy. I don't think I'm allergic to the product. And I've never had any issues like this... like EVER. I have zero allergies to anything that I've stumbled on so far in my lifetime and don't have sensitive skin. So I do believe it's due to this product. My hunch is that because the deodorant is so thick, that's why it lasts so long and even the second day I still smell it on me; yet, BECAUSE it is so thick, I think it's clogging my pores and causing bacteria to build up. I don't think the product is crap. I really believe it is a quality product. It just doesn't work for me. If it did, I would never use any deodorant but this as long as I lived. That's how much I wanted to love this product. All of you who it works for, you are so lucky!

After my favorite scents are no longer available I was in search of a new scent so I took a chance on Cactus flower. Smells so good! Unfortunately I have two problems with it. 1. The dial, as others have said, was a major pain to get moving. The dial refused to budge it made my fingers hurt so bad so I had to get my husband to finally get it moving but it was not easy for him either, I think he had to use pliers. 2, the odor control does not last 24 hours like the other two scents I was using. I would wake up in the am with stinky pits...in November when it''s cold here in the northeast! This has never happened with the other scents even in the sizzling hot summer. I tried drying out my pits really well prior to application, and then using more product, I tried using less product, to no avail. So yesterday I tried scraps of one of the previous scents I had remaining and this morning I was totally fine. Something must be up with this formula which is unfortunate because it smells so good and I love this brand! It’s the first natural deodorant brand that actually works for me. I will try this scent again with a much thicker application and report back if it’s successful. I may just try ordering from the company directly instead and give that a try. Update: I tried applying an even thicker layer and it seems to be working!
