started my gel x journey this year and have bought all of my supplies from beetles. ☺️ this was my first ever gel polish purchase and am not disappointed with my choice! the colors are gorgeousss and while a few do look similar, that doesn't bother me; i love all of the colors! the ONLY one i'm not the biggest fan of is the white because it has a gold undertone that i wasn't expecting. which, as you can see on the short set, just ends up looking straight up yellow/gold. i was going for a pearly pink/white combo, but ended up with pink/gold. i made it work. other than that, i'm happy. luckily all of the colors compliment each other perfectly so it's fun to mix colors, layer colors and just play around, plus the dotting tool makes it so easy to take your nails to that next level with little effort. i used 4 out of the 6 colors for these two sets. the bottles are smaller than i was expecting, but for the price, i'm not complaining. good quality, no chipping or peeling. i know these will last me a while. will definitely be buying more and already have my eyes on the nude colors set. 👀😍

You couldn’t draw on them or do the swirly that it shows in the picture. The consistency is pretty thick. I really enjoyed this product and would recommend. they also have great colors, most of the pinks look the same

The color of these is even more stunning in person, these were a pleasant surprise. I’ve been doing my own gel nails for about 10 years and I’ve tried A LOT of products both low end and high end. High cost doesn’t necessarily equate to high quality and same thing with more affordable options. I’ve shifted away from the beginner sets and brands (like beetles) that are all over Amazon in favor higher quality/safer products, but every once in a while I’ll give something like this set a try. And I’m so glad I did! These are GREAT pearlescent polishes. Important to note: these are thicker/gloopier than regular gels, they aren’t bad or old, it’s just the nature of this kind of formula. I saw people’s reviews complaining about this, but to be honest most people buying these products do not know what they’re doing or how to properly use them. They’re thick but you float them on and remove excess with the brush until you reach a thin even layer, a little bit at a time to avoid flooding onto your skin. They’re really pretty you can see on the first picture there’s one layer applied and they each have a base color and a contrasting shimmer color. The 2nd and 3rd picture show what they look like at 2 coats, and I didn’t realize when I ordered that it came with a cute little dotting tool which is great to drag around and make a swirly pattern you can see on the swatches. I really recommend these, as long as you’re patient and careful applying them. My ONLY complaint is the size of the bottles, they’re on the smaller side and you should be able to get a few manicures from each color but if you’re a nail tech or anything, you’re gonna need to keep repurchasing (I’m not sure they sell these as individual polishes in larger size so I think you’d have to keep buying the WHOLE set).

Wow! These colors are absolutely stunning! This gel polish, when applied properly is so beautiful and long lasting! I use the Beetles base coat, the foundation gel, cure it for 90 seconds. Then I used 2 or 3 coats of this product, I've tried all 6 colors, then finished with a Beetles gel top coat, its smooth, not sticky and so beautiful in natural and outdoor light. The bottle size is good for the price considering you get all six colors. If you don't want the brush strokes to show on your last coat, try wiggling your bristles back and forth & you can actually make a wavy effect. I wouldn't hesitate to purchase this set again or if they come out with another set of colors I will definitely purchase it. I make my own press-on nails and these work perfectly for that process.
