This is my first UV cure gel polish kit and I don’t know why I didn’t buy this sooner! As soon as I received, I immediately tried 5 of the 6 included colors and they are gorgeous!! I did have to do two coats of the lightest pink for coverage and cured each coat for 60 seconds per the included instructions. I’m so pleased with everything else included. I will update later on how long it lasts but goodbye smudged, regular polish, lasts one day manicures forever!

I was hesitant to buy it because I didn’t think I would be able to do my own nail. I figured once the salons opened I wouldn’t use it at all. The salons finally opened in California so I decided to get my nails done. The wait time was So long and the prices increased. I left the salon and ordered this kit. Let me just say that I love it. I did my mom’s and sister’s nails and they both loved it too. Super easy to use!

I never write product reviews but this brand of polish is amazing. Picture shown is one week after application. No cracks or chips. Only thing is the top coat has lost some shine. But I have scrubbed dishes, scrubbed bathroom tile and performed multiple heavy duty tasks with my hands. And this polish continues to hold up. I stopped getting professional gel manicures because they would always crack or lift away from my cuticles only days after. These stuff stays put and super easy to use for someone with little or no experience (like me!). Tips: 1.) Cure a whole 120 seconds between coats. Yes it takes longer, but you won't have to worry about the polish smudging off or bubbling. Patience is key! 2.) Take the time to buff the hell out of your nail to rough it up. I also used rubbing alcohol to remove excess oil on the nail before applying the base coat 3.) Thin coats are your best friend. You really don't need alot of polish to cover your nail, unless your nails are super long 4.) If you have polish on the edges or creases of your nail, wait until top coat is applied and cured. You can file down the edges of your nail for a clean finish I already ordered another set of polishes and can't wait to try them all!

I am blown away by this product. It comes with everything pictured. The nail polish bottles are slightly smaller than average but you get SIX colors, base coat, matte top coat, and shiny top coat. I used the UV light on the 120 sec setting (as suggested by other reviews) and I have had no problems with the polish curing. I am a nurse and I wash my hands all the time and I haven’t had a chip all week. Definitely worth the purchase. I highly recommend this product

I'm totally new to gel. I never even had gel done at a salon before. I discovered dip powder nails a few months ago and REALLY liked them, but I felt like I wanted something that looked a little more "natural" and less like acrylics. Also, the dip nails added so much thickness to my nails and I wanted to try something that looked a little more like regular nail polish. I use beetle dip powder and it's my favorite, so when I read that beetles originally started with gel and that they're new to dip, I knew I wanted to go with them. Looked for a ton of color combos but ultimately picked this one. The starter kit is great- it includes more than I needed, so that's great. The light is an auto on/off when you put your hand in (I didn't know that when ordering one but that's what I wanted). The directions were clear enough that I didn't need to look anywhere else on how to do gels. The one thing I wasn't sure of is if you stick all the nails under the light at once or if you have to do one finger at a time (you can do either). Everything is great but I guess my one "issue" is that the light times are 30sec/60sec/120sec. Directions say to leave it in for 60-90 sec, so I wish there was a 90 sec button instead of a 30. I dont ever see myself using 30 unless it's to add up to 90. I've only used one color so far, but I chose the second darkest because it was hard to tell from the picture what color it was- not as dark as black.. turns out it is a dark red, like an oxblood. That was one of the colors I wanted, so that's great. Two coats of color got me to my desired color depth, with 1-2 nails needing a third coat. So far, so good! Loving this kit.

I was hesitant to purchase this kit because I've never done a true gel manicure at home before, but I'm so glad I did. I love having my nails done but can't afford to go to the nail salon every couple of weeks, and regular polishes chip so quickly on me it's almost a waste of time. I decided to buy this kit when it was on a daily deal and chose the options with the grey polishes. I properly prepped my nails and followed the steps using the base coat, light, 2-3 coats of polish, light, and top coat, light. I would say I probably used the light for about 2 minutes for each coat just to make sure it really cured. My nails were dry, cured hard, and looking great. The first attempt lasted 10 days before one nail chipped (and that was only because I let some of the polish get on the cuticle so it was bound to peel) and the rest of the nails lasted two weeks. I removed the polish and did another manicure and am currently at 10 days without a single chip - they basically look like they were just done except for the nail growth. I'm so happy I'm already picking out more color sets of the same Beetles gel polish.
