  • The fall colors are great. Fun, interesting colors in this one!
Color: Waltz of Leaves
I’m happy with the fall set. If you’re in the autumn color family I think you’ll like this set! There are some interesting, unique colors that I wouldn’t have thought of trying if they weren’t in this set. I love getting the sets for that reason. I can try out more and have a bigger variety to choose from. Keep in mind the bottles are the smallest size. 5 ml I believe rather than 7.5 ml. This set came with a base, glossy top coat and matte top coat and 2 files as well. Beetles goes on sale a lot. I usually pick out some different sets I might want to try and put them in my cart as “saved for later.” That way I’ll be notified when they go on sale. ;) I recommend these sets. I have several from this brand and have been happy with all of them. It’s a good polish that performs well for me. I typically have zero chipping on medium almond gelatin-x nails. I do swap out a higher quality base and top coat though just because for the top coat I found one that is super shiny and durable that I like better. ... show more

  • Small but great product
I love that I’m able to test out several colors to see which ones I like. The only problem I have is that I didn’t realize the bottles were sooo small. However, I’ve been able to polish both hands successfully using only one color twice.

  • Love
Color: Fantasyland Collection
I love these. They are fun colors, vibrant, and look great on. Durability was good. Fist picture was right after I did them and the second was two weeks after.

  • Great color. Long lasting. A little challenging to remove.
Color: 0- Colors Modern Muse
The range of colors was fantastic. I love the shades that were provided and I don't mind the smaller bottles as I'm just doing these at home myself. Since I don't need to get 25 or 30 polishes out of the same color, that doesn't really matter. The top coat and base coat bottles are standard size. Only the bottles for the colors are smaller. You can see the difference in my photo. It goes on easily and looks beautiful. The only reason I did not give this a five-star review is because it is difficult to remove. OPI or c&d polish comes off much easier. If you are someone who is patient and you don't mind spending a little more time in the soak off, or if you are going to drill off, then I would definitely go with this. You do need to have a gel light and it's great that they are dry instantly once you cure them. So much more affordable and a fantastic selection of colors. ... show more

  • My nails suck these are awesome
So I'm grad school broke and have fast-growing nails that are thin-ish and love to split and chip at the ends if they get longer than a mm. I thought these were a different kind of gel - that I'd damage my nails like acrylics/gel/dips do and have to wait months for them to grow out. Nail polish just doesn't stay on my nails and a cute paint job will be gone the moment I shower, or in 2 days, whichever comes first. Enter this stuff. I LOVE IT - this brand is my fav. It takes some learning - you cant get amazing nails the first time with these. DO NOT do anything else before you have the final coat on. Pee first, have everything you need, don't go digging in anything or touch clothing/tissues, don't touch it even to check things - if you do thin layers and bake for 90 seconds it'll be dry. This stuff is sticky even when baked under a UV light and you'll be picking lint off if you do ANYTHING other than go from beginning to end in one sitting. The top coat is fine the moment its time under the UV light is done so you can go full speed when finished. My advice is definitely BUFF your nails lightly with a rough file to rough up the slick surface so it sticks for a long time- dont do so much you injure your nails. Warm up the base coat in your hands (or put it in a warm glass of water while you buff) so it goes on THIN. UV light for 60-90 seconds. For thin or broken nails (I even repaired a broken nail this way) put on a second THIN layer. UV for 90. THEN put on 2-3 layers of a color - each are sheer-ish don't worry it'll be solid by the next layer. This stuff doesn't dry until baked so every single time you apply a layer it gets 60 seconds under the light. 90 if its the tiny light. I do 3 layers of color. If I need a base under a sheer glitter one, I'll do 2 for a solid color the the sheer 1-2 on top. Keep an eye on it getting lumpy - if you put it too much in one area and thin in another there will be thick areas on your nails. Don't get it on your skin, it's a pain to get off later with a cuticle clipper - take advantage of it not drying and carefully wipe off anything on your skin before baking. This stuff will get HOT if you don't do thin layers - like BURNING hot (and you cant remove it). Keep it thin. If you do feel it getting hot remove immediately, let it cool then put it back in. Your top coat (1) will be the hottest of all of them so be ready for heat - usually because it's thicker than the others. If they're not hard as a rock, you didn't bake them long enough. 1-2 layers of THINNEST base, 2-4 layers of color (if you get creative there may be more), 1 layer of top. Mine stay perfect until they grow out so much they need to be changed. You CAN fill them in if you buff down the top coat but you're buying a giant kit like this why not remove them to try another color. ABOUT THAT - consider getting fingerless gloves to protect your skin from the UV light. Some people are sensitive and if you do this too often you might see signs of irritation or even aging after a year or so. I do this about every 3 weeks so it's not bad - and I pamper my skin after with 3 rounds of moisturizer and massages. I don't recommend this type of nail if you do it more than once every 2 weeks - it's not good for your skin. This stuff is meant to STAY on. If you like changing it up a lot, paint a natural nail in the gel polish then paint a regular nail polish type over the top - use a non-acetone remover like SOY POLISH REMOVER that will take off the polish but not mess with the gel nail. When removing the gel nail, I got a cheap electric file to buff it down quickly but you have to have a steady hand - if you don't want to deal with those things get a rough nail file and file down the top coat of all the nails then put on a remover. Some removers paint on, they're not great and have to be done like 4 times - you can get remover dip for gel nails so you can soak them off. There's also the 100% acetone method that you use with a cotton ball torn into 10 pieces and dipped in then applied to the nail with either foil or those clamp things to keep the air away - that sometimes requires 2 rounds - DONT PULL IT OFF - YOUR NAIL LAYERS WILL COME WITH IT. Watch a youtube video and educate yourself so your nail will come out squeaky clean and unharmed. Pamper your naked nails after removal AND after application - cuticle oil and moisturizer - treat your hands too they just went through light trauma. Good luck! ... show more

  • Great colours!
As a professional nail tech who was in a pinch and needed some gels quickly and cheaply, these did great. The colours are exactly as shown once you do 2 or more coats/layers. They are a little self-leveling but not much so pay attention to your strokes. The colour comes out so evenly and beautiful when you’re finished. I haven’t used the matte top coat yet so I can’t comment on that but the gloss top coat is beautiful and is a non-wipe TC so it’s great for using glitters or chrome powders! I did find that the glittery ones chipped quicker but this makes sense since the amount of glitter makes the gel harder and thus less resilient. So they’re good if you’re looking for a bit of bling for a weekend. (This is a common problem with cheaper glittery brands, if you really want long lasting glitter gels you need to go up-market to the real professional brands like KiaraSky or GelBottleInc). Considering that a primer is not needed for this set they last very well! Just be sure to buff, clean and dehydrate your nails by using a dehydrator, rubbing alcohol or acetone first to remove the oils and let it sit for 1-2 minutes before continuing with a thin layer of the base coat. If you follow these steps you won’t have issues with lifting or peeling after a few hours or days as others have mentioned. Oh and make sure you don’t flood the nail - leave the tiniest gap between where you start the gel and the skin, even around the sides to minimise more chances of lifting as well. Practise makes perfect. You don’t need to use a lot or load up the brushes with a ton of gel either, a little goes a long way and gel is all about building strength through thin layers. My favourite colours are the pale blue and the nudes. They look so great and have such a beautiful high shine polish to them that doesn’t fade over time. Hope this helps! 5 stars from me! ... show more

  • Not the Best
Color: 0-0 20 Colors Sophisticated Charm
First thing's first: I gave this product three stars because I love the color variety and the richness of the shades, but I'd give quality one star. The colors are all stunning and there's a great variety in shades- it really feels like you're getting your money's worth in that way. However, as other reviewers mentioned, the bottles are MINISCULE. SO small! I'm not sure if you can tell from the pictures, but to put things in to perspective: painting my toe-nails (two coats) took an ENTIRE bottle. And I am not exactly generous with my coating either, so that was kind of sad. As far as performance goes, I would consider this incredibly poor. I typically do poly-gel nails for myself and retention is pretty decent- about 3 to 4 weeks- so I'd consider myself pretty okay at prep work. I'm careful, I'm meticulous, and I know how to prepare a base for a long-lasting manicure. Even so, after adequately prepping and filing the nail, and following the instructions for the actual nail polish perfectly, using base coat and top coat, this stuff did not last two days before beginning to lift and peel. I also found that multiple colors needed an excessive number of coats and, on top of that, a 120 second cure time per layer, which is a lot higher than most other gels I've used. That might not bother some people, but I'm very cautious in general and I wear sunscreen and UV gloves to protect myself, so having to put my nails under a high-powered lamp for like eight minutes per hand was not ideal. All in all, I would not recommend. The colors are pretty, but you don't get much per bottle, and the excessive curing time in conjunction with the lack of retention and durability just don't feel worth it. ... show more

  • Great nail polish
Color: Fantasyland Collection
I do my own pedicures, and this is a perfect set for the person who just wants to do their own nails at home. Couldn’t beat the price the mat and glossy both turn out beautiful. Easy to apply easy to dry with UV light.
