This isn’t the first time i use builder gel/rubber base gel, but it is the first time im using it in a bottle. I’ve always applied mine with a separate nail brush. But builder gel/rubber base gel in a bottle is way easier to control than the ones in container like jars. Love them! The colors are also so cute! They also last more than 2 weeks! So you can go a while with the same manicure! By the way, builder gel/rubber base gel DOES NOT soak off with acetone. You have to file it off, either with a nail file or a drill! That’s how you do a new set! This also helps your nails grow nice and strong and they help with chipping. If you have thin, brittle nails, definitely try using this product! Remember to always seal your manicure at the edges with the gel!

I actually found something that works for me!! I have weak and brittle nails and can’t keep them long at all 😔. I’ve tried regular gel polish and it always lifts. I then remembered building gel and tried it on my thumb first and it stayed in for about two weeks, and then decided to do my whole fingers and redid my thumb 😊. This product is great because I get to size and shape my nails the way I want, and it was easy to use (of course depends on the foils- I had some hard to see ones lol) !! I love the colors as well. I’m definitely no expert on doing nails but I love the outcome!!

This stuff is AMAZING! It's fairly easy to use, just might need a little practice if you haven't used this type of product before. It's perfect for adding structure to weak and flat nails, fixing a crack in the nail, or extending a broken nail! I broke my long natural nail off and used this to get the length back, it has lasted over 2 weeks with no issues! If you do the correct prep it will last for a long time and is resistant to wear and tear. Easy to remove if you know how to properly remove gel.

Buyer beware! I wish I had done my research before buying this kit and others from Beetles. I thought diy gel polish would save me a lot of time and money vs. trips to the salon every couple of weeks, but I was wrong. Even though they are sold and marketed together, and you would think they would work together, the Beetles uv nail lamp is not strong enough to fully cure the Beetles gel polish, leaving the chemicals in the polish to seep into your nail bed and surrounding skin. A few days after I applied the polish and cured for even longer than recommended just to be sure, I developed an allergic reaction and had to go see my doctor to get a prescription cream to stop the itching and burning it caused. Thankfully I caught this early before I lost my nails or blistered severely. I didn't even think of this possibility before buying this polish kit and others from Beetles. Methacrylate chemicals, 2-Hydroxyethyl methacrylate or Hema as it is known by, is apparently known to cause allergic reactions in people using at home gel polish, something I didn't know before using. Once you develop one of these reactions, it is very likely you will continue to have it happen every time you use a gel product. It's it likely to make you also react to and unable to use white dental fillings it have joint replacement. Think before you buy!

It’s really strong! With normal gel I’m lucky if I get a full week without lifting. I can make it TWO whole weeks on this stuff. Only cons: - The colors are not very true to the pictures (see the sample colors). I won’t use over half of these. Nonetheless, it’s a good deal for me even if I only get a few good colors. - Not as fast drying as normal gel. But this is to be expected with the thickness of building gel. Overall very pleased with how long they stay on!!! Will definitely be buying again!

nice hit they don’t stay, i’ve had a lot of lifting with these which is disappointing, i love beetles gel but this product isn’t for me

If you are looking to save money and not go to the salon, this is the product for you. It was easy to learn how to apply this polish and it gave my nails the salon look right at home. This polish adds durability to your nails if you have brittle nails. The application was smooth and I received so many compliments.
