I was able to set this tent up, in the dark, for the first time very easily! Did not leak at all when we got poured on throughout the night. We stayed warm and dry all night. Plenty of room for my adult size teenager, younger son, myself along with all our clothes/bedding and air mattress. No issues with it shifting or flapping in the wind. My favorite part was how open the ceiling was when we could remove rain guard. Sleeping under the stars was breathtaking without having to deal with mosquitoes. If it's warm and not raining, leaving the fly cover off makes it as open as being outside. Except for the door, everything about about 2 ft is open screening. It's great to lay on my back and look up at the trees and sky. Regarding putting it up, the first time, even with the video, was a struggle. The second time was much easier, and the third time it was easy and only took about 10 minutes. Be sure to put it up in your yard a couple of times before taking it to a campsite. ... show more

We wanted to get a few trips with this tent before writing the review. This tent is very easy to set up. From getting it out of the bag, stood up and staked takes us 10 minutes. As soon as we got the tent, we put seam sealer on all seams, including the rain fly. We have been in heavy rain and no leaks! We have also camped in 45 degree temps (with a heater) and been very comfortable. Lots of interior room and it is great to be able to stand up without hunching over (hubby is 6’2”). We have had a queen and twin air mattresses and still room inside. Overall a great tent!! ... show more

Took a while to set up. 2 of us both very experienced campers and hunters. 11:45pm winds came up, +/- 20 mph and that’s what got me writing this review. Tent literally started blowing down. Tried tightening guide lines to no avail. Key issue: Crossing tent poles are both flimsy and unsupported due to height of tent and design. Design is perfect for smaller tents, of which we’ve had 3 with no issues. But for this size the become the destabilizing element. Tie downs for the rain cover have defective stays, keep slipping thus providing no tension or support. Pegs are flimsy and too short for this size tent. Knowing this bought 12” heavy duty pegs which still did nothing to hold up the tent posts. DO NOT BUY unless you have anything but perfect weather. Unfortunately only used after return window so left with a $120 rip off! ... show more

Very nice tent but the clips are plastic and one broke when I stepped on it putting the tent up so that caused it to swag on one side. There was no way I could put another clip on.
