As a nu beekeeper, I wanted good value for my first set of bk tools. All the tools seem to be better than decent quality. The smoker is full size, and pretty decent. The metal gauge is a little thinner on the smoker than I would prefer, and the bellows material probably won't last a full season, but it should work well enough to get me started. If the bellows rip, it can easily be patched. If I stay with bee keeping, I probably will upgrade the smoker. The frame removal tool looks to be good quality. The general hive tools are metal and seem decent. The honey de-capper (claw looking thing-a-mahjig) looks to be better than decent quality.I would have been happy with everything even at 2x the price. Looking forward to the spring, and the arrival of my bee packages. ... show more
