The following review is for a Beeasy men's digital wristwatch model AW02. It is a water-resistant watch. It is not water-proof, as the box and Amazon advertising states. It is a basic watch with minimal features. Arrival: The watch is packaged in a green slide box that makes it suitable for a gift. Actually, when I first saw it, it reminded me of a passport. But that could be me. The watch is well protected, and two manuals are provided when opened. The first is the quicky that helps you set the watch's time and date, and the other is more detailed to cover the rest of the features. Physical: All the dimensions and weights conform to the specifications on the Amazon website. The maximum wrist size is missing, and I measured the buckle tongue to the last hole in the band to be 22 cm. If your wrist circumference is large, this will not work. The thickness at 9 mm is significant if you're having problems with your watches and long sleeve shirts and jackets. The cuff should slide back easily with this watch. The display number's viewability is a bit unusual. The advertisement ad has been touched up a bit to show the face with a brighter contrast display than provided. It does work in bright sunlight, and when dark, the light button is pressed, illumination is just enough to see the numbers for 3 seconds. But don't expect it to light your way in the dark. I did notice I had to change the angle of the watch in the outside daylight to get just the right shadow to see the numbers. But it does look interesting. Display information such as the indication for 24hr display, alarm, hour signal (SIG) are very small and may require a magnifying glass to see. Once you get used to it, the location would be enough to indicate if that feature is used. All mode settings require you to go into the programming mode by holding the R button for 3 seconds. However, the 24/12 formate feature is an exception. You can simply switch from one to the other by pressing the S button. If you need to familiarize yourself with 24-hour formats, this will help convert time to 24 hours. The 24-hour format is preferred in Europe for travelling, so this could come in handy. The alarm sound is not that loud and lasts about 10 seconds, and there isn't a vibrating mode. If you are hearing impaired, it can be an issue. Over a period of two weeks, I did not measure any loss of time. Programming: The manual is written in five languages. It looks challenging, but there isn't much to understand. The instructions in English are good, with few usage issues. For example, "...will run continuously in the backstage" is really in the background. I easily followed the instructions, and all the features were programmable and functional. As a note, some "cheap" watches have terrible translations, becoming next to impossible to understand. This is not the care here. The Chronograph (Stop Watch) has a spit function labelled L, and it is a lap function. If the course repeats for five laps, for example, you can press the R button after the first lap to record the time and then press it again to go back to timing, which has been timing in the background. The countdown or TR setting is limited to hours and minutes; you cannot set it for seconds. Amazon and Box description Error: This watch was described as water-proof 5ATM, and it is not. 5ATM is a standard that indicates that the watch has been tested up to 5-atmosphere pressure (50 meters underwater) for 10 minutes. There is no guarantee after 10 minutes. Few companies claim water-proof. Water-proof is a requirement for diving, and Rolex was one of the original manufacturers who could claim that distinction for their watches. Usually, you find that the back screws into the body form a much more robust seal with the O-ring. The backing showed water-resistant, and when I unscrewed the back off (screws are never used for water-proof), it showed an O-ring. Water I could not verify how the buttons were sealed. Water resistant means splashing water on it without entering the casing. Or it is resistant to humidity. But it cannot be submerged under water or worn during a shower for very long. Do not go swimming or take showers with it on if it can be avoided. If you see condensation on the inside of the crystal, as some reviews have noted, then you have water impregnation. Use a jeweller's screwdriver to remove the backing and let it dry for over 24 hours.

It is now mid-July 2023. I bought it in January 2022 for $14.81 because it is reasonably thin, reasonably water proof, and has time, day, and date in decent size always showing. I switched to this because the previous $10 watch I had been buying that always lasted almost exactly 2 years (before the band broke) went up in price and is now discontinued. This watch has been almost as good. I never take it off. Not at night or in the shower or in a pool. with the previous watch the band would always break after 2 years and it was cheaper to buy a new one. The band on this one is still fine after a year and a half but the battery died (day after I went in the ocean) so I installed another battery. The next day there was moisture under the glass and it started showing weird displays. The area I was in was very hot and humid so I imagine when I changed the battery I introduced moisture to it. Oh well...it has been a great watch and they are still under $15 ($14.54( so I'm buying another one and will keep buying them as long as they last 1-2 years or until they go up in price or get discontinued like the other one. I'll let you know how long this next one lasts.

Really wanted to like this watch. Comfortable and light. But literally wore it on a 2hr bike ride, stopped to heat up lunch excited to use the timer. It counted down 5 minutes and didn’t beep, displayed all zeros and froze that way. None of the buttons worked again. Wrote to them about it and no reply 🤷🏻 UPDATE: Well it took awhile but Beeasy finally responded to my complaint The amazing thing is how awesome they were! They were very helpful and attentive to my issue and providing a resolution. They proved they definitely care about their customers! In thinking about it, why else would they take the time out who knows how many to take the time they did to help me with a $15 dollar item. Pretty impressive to me in this day and age. This is a completely honest and unbiased review when I say I own some pretty high dollar watches, Movado, Bulova Etc. But this one is now my go to regardless. It’s funny I don’t even want to wear a $15 dollar watch to work because I don’t want to mess it up! I’ve since bought a couple others and another one for a gift.

The watch keeps good time and is simple to operate. The display is clean and simple to read. The settings are intuitive and easy to adjust. However, I've experience two significant problems in just a month and a half of owning it. The face of the watch has a crack in it notwithstanding I'm careful with my watches. Second, part of the black plastic side of the watch crumbled so that it has a hole in it that can let dirt and moisture in (see the photo - close to the wrist band is dark whole). I have never, ever had a problem like that.

Was a little concerned at first because the item description mentioned it was "waterproof," but then noticed that on watch dial it read "water resistant." And I had bought it with the intention to wear it while swimming. After being reassured by seller, found that the watch was indeed waterproof. It continues to work well! I really like this watch!

The watch band is just a little too short. A person with a larger wrist may experience a problem strapping on the watch. The watch keeps changing to a 24 hour time on it's own. I need to look into this more.

This truly is a fantastic watch. The watch itself is made of metal and well sealed. It feels significant in your hand. The band is plastic, which holds up far better when exposed to sweat and grime. It’s easy to set and to operate, which are qualities my personal experience has found to be vanishing in today’s watch market. A watch that requires a written procedure to set is worthless in my view, but so many are that way. Not this watch. And finally, it’s a very nice looking time piece. I’m glad I found it and wholeheartedly recommend it.
