As a side and black sleeper and 115 lb woman I don’t like my head too tilted. The first day I received early so took them out to let expand for sleep that night. They were quiet low even for me but still soft and and at least some supper tho I was thinking just a tad more would be perfect. I didn’t expect them to expand any more at all. Im sure 3 days passed and that 4th night they are very full and now my head tilts more than I would like lol. But feel for someone heavier would be fine. These are great if you want super fluffy pillows -- though if you want something comfortable for your neck they seem like they'd be a lot. I use contoured pillows. I got these to put shams in, but they're so thick (7 inches) that they don't fit in 20" wide shams, which is what standard, queen, and king shams are. you can make up for the length (it pops out of my pillow sham at the end) by getting a larger sham, but it won't keep the pillow from looking like a stuffed sausage. not sure how folks are solving this issue. ... show more

My 12 year old had been begging for new pillows for his bed as his current ones were all worn out. While birthday shopping for him I decided to see if I could find a good firm pillow for him, which is what he likes. Found these and he loves them. They are just the right firmness to softness for him. If you are someone who likes a very firm (almost o give) pillows these are not for you, but if you want a pillow with just enough firmness these are perfect. His head sinks into them slightly but they still keep him elevated so it is perfect for him. I may buy a few more for my husband and I cause our pillows have seen better days too. ... show more

Maybe my definition of the word FIRM is different from some of the other reviewers, but the pillows are way too thin and squishy for me to be able to sleep comfortably. I don't want one of those firm solid memory foam pillows, so I was hoping that these pillows would work.

Real QUEEN SIZE pillows. Hard to find. Not those STD/QN mid size 28” wide (halfway between Standard at 26” and Queen at 30” ones) These come flat packed and rolled. With clear (and hysterically funny) illustrated instructions on how to fluff them up. Yes, they DO fluff up beautifully. Fill out their gussets completely. Bought these for our rental condo where they are slept on every night. Will update this review in November after 4 months use when we stay there ourselves. ... show more

Bought 2 a year ago they were excellent. The recent purchase I,m stilling waiting on them to fluff up. Says wait 24 hours but going on a few days now. I hope to use them eventually.
